Fuck this. I need to leave Europe ASAP. 2 yrs and im outta here. My EU passport will be worth nothing.

Don't panic hahaha. There's much more life than UK in the EU. Markets are always very frightened.

I'm so angry. A generation given everything: Free education, golden pensions, social mobility have voted to strip my generation's future. Thank you very fucking much

I don't blame you for being angry. This is a huge blow. I just cannot believe the vote went this way. I'm still in shock.

First of all don't give me American football anologies. You don't even control the ball with your foot. Irrelevant. The majority of the people talking here don't even have the right to vote. Australians, Europeans and Americans!!! So are all of their opinions invalid too? Madonna has told people to vote many times and didn't actually vote herself. I think the trolls should all head on over to her instagram to make yourselves feel better about life.

Oh god, see, the first thing you seize on is the fact that I used terminology from the country I live in. As if you're insulted by the fact that it even entered your sphere.

A part of me wonders if you're having a crisis of your own now that the country you live in is in such turmoil after years of dismissive and derisive rhetoric about the countries the rest of us live in. Your immediate reaction is "SHUT UP EVERYTHINGS FINE! FUCK ALL OF YOU! HAHA" *delicate shuddering, furrowed brow*

I dont want to fight with you GU, you're probably a good guy, but sometimes you head down teh rabbit hole in threads like this and get caught up defending yourself... whatever.

I genuinely hope this all sorts itself out and the world moves on.

I have to laugh reading Farages response to his victory; We Have Our Country Back! Hahaha This country never went anywhere, you idiot!

He is a dick. He shouldn't be celebrating, he should be reassuring Britain that they made the right choice, and that our £ will be ok. Nothing can be undone now... well, atleast I think it can't be, but you never know what might pop up I guess.

Sloaney get your gun. Sorry I'm not a flip flopper like you and try to make informed decisions. You were voting for a liberal socialist and then changed yoir vote to the ultimate scare mongering capitalist. You believe people should walk around carrying M-16s. I care not for your opinion

*fastens smoking jacket, sips fine brandy and turns the volume of Beethoven up to 11*

He cares not for my opinion lol so pretentious. You're a funny guy. Make sure you're sitting down in that fine leather chair of yours when I drop this bomb in your uppity den ...

People don't care if YOU, the mighty GU, don't approve. I mean, we can live with it. It's okay.

This is how ignorant some English peeps are. They said they voted Leave because they don't like Muslims. I told them the EU has got nothing to do with Muslims. In fact most EU countries if not all of them are actually Christians like the UK. And their response? Yes but terrorists are....

I really can't with ignorance and hate. People actually voted out because of terrorists. Don't they know it's actually working alongside European intelligence they have a better chance of tackling terrorism?! That's what you get when you give stupid people the right to vote!

This is bad news for me.

Now the far right in France are asking to get out..

I see no future. Not as a EU member, not as a Jew.

We'll see. I'll try and finish my degree on time.

Sloane explained it to you. It's actually not that big of a deal, pundits do it all the time. And pundit is a great way to describe how youre coming across in this thread :lmao:

Does the UK have its own version of Fox News? I think that's your ticket to notoriety.

Can we please stop feeding GU his daily sustenance?

The governor of the bank of England looked shit scared in that speech he just gave in an attempt to avert another banking crisis. 250 billion to help prop up the pound? All in a days work I guess.

Even the REMAIN(ders) look dazed and confused by what they've done. There's no feeling of celebration AT ALL. Like "we didn't REALLY think this would happen". Really bishes? You reap what you sow.

He can't do that. The sterling is free falling. It's even worse than 2008. No celebration there... What's to celebrate anyways? Oh yeah now they can get rid of the EU immigrants...

I wonder what's going to happen to our human rights now in the UK. As it was all under the European human rights and now they can simply do what they want and where do we go if we want to appeal? What if they're going to dismantle same sex marriages or not find it legal anymore? Let's not forget the true views of parties like UKP.. I wouldn't even say wolves in sheep clothing because their intentions are so obvious to me...

All you so concerned about the economy the same ones that blame capitalism for all of your problems. I have no time for this fuckery.

The UK will survive fine after all of this bullshit. The world still recognizes the Pound as one of the key currencies of the world. All of this talk about the pound losing value and the stock market really only applies to limited people. I think it's probably worse for foreigners than it is the British if anything. You think old mate in Bristol with 0 investments is really going to feel anything?

For me either result was really not going to phase me. I really don't know why people are losing their shit about things. You need to remember the UK (whether you like it or not) still has the Commonwealth that it can rely on!

When the recession hits and the redundancies are handed out, Brexiters should get to the front of the queue. There's going to be a lot of disappointed people when they see that there won't be extra money for the NHS, there'll be less, there won't be extra money for farmers, there'll be less, there won't be money for regional development, London will continue to suck in investment while the regions like NI wither on the vine. You fell for the lie that immigration is a bad thing and that leaving the EU would reduce it, it will but only because immigration always goes down in a failing economy. Shame on anyone who voted based on anything from the mouths of politicians without looking up the information for themselves, you'll get what you deserve. Shame on Cameron, he divided Scotland into two bitterly opposed camps, he's done the same with the rest of the country, that's his legacy.

There's so much idiocy in here I don't know where to begin. The pound USED to be one of the key currencies in the world because it enjoyed the stability of being part of the EU (in terms of trade, political power, financial markets) while having the flexibility of a separate currency to insulate itself from the downfalls of EU membership. When the pound loses value, everything foreign is going to cost more for the British to import. You don't think the VAT on all those EU goods will hurt?

And please, as if the Commonwealth is anything but symbolic. The Empire is over and even the major Commonwealth countries can't save the UK from the world of hurt it's going to face with what it has to deal with to do business with its geographic neighbors.

I miss those times when Europe had good presidents and politicians. Now they seem less prepared than your regular milkman

Totally. Not that they didn't have malicious intentions even back then but at least they made an effort to make up for it in some form. Now everything is atrociously transparent. Transparently squallid

Hinny I'm not saying you're Sarah Palin or Pears Morbid... I'm saying you'd make good television. Fox News has liberals, leggy models, old ugly white men, UKers, celebrities, you name it.

Farage said he had no interest in being PM, but he has proven to be a liar in regards to the NHS money.

I think Corbyn is who the public will back, George Galloway (independent party mp who supported brexit) backs him also.
