My thoughts exactly, haters have always said this Dance chart is the shittiest of all BB charts and that it means zero, all in the sake of not giving any worth to Madonna's accomplishment in that zone at all, well get that you bitches, it is already official, she has the most numba 1's in all BB charts, no country, no hip hop, no r&b, no latin nor chinese...Dance!

She's the artist with the most top 10's in BB's history also, right muther fuckers?

that's right, she's beyond groovy!

:chuckle:

Doesn't she also hold another Billboard record?

A few years ago they made a list of all acts, solo or group considered to be the most prolific/successful on their charts

But can't exactly remember what the record was for

Thanks! So not exactly some "she's a Billboard stricylty-dance queen" nonsense :chuckle: A few months ago someone wrote that the BB Dance Chart is not representative of the whole spectrum of music that gets played in US clubland. He never elaborated on it but whatever

Aug 7, 2013 14

Billboard magazine is celebrating the 55th anniversary of its Hot 100 singles chart and, as such, has released its list of the most successful groups and artists in the history of the singles chart. Unsurprisingly, The Beatles tops the list at #1 as the most successful group in the chart history but coming in at #2 is Madonna the most successful solo artist in Hot 100 history. Madonna reigns over Elton John (#3), Elvis Presley (#4), Mariah Carey (#5), Michael Jackson (#8), Prince (#18) and on and on. Click below to see the full list of Hot 100 groups/artists as they rank in terms of success then learn a little bit of gossip about when Maddy MIGHT begin work on her next album.

In the course of charting over a half-century of music, the Billboard Hot 100 which now celebrates its 55th anniversary has seen some songs transform into hits, but it has also chronicled major chart feats. So in addition to the Hot 100 55th anniversary All-Time Top 100 Songs list, weve delved into the Hot 100′s rich history to take a look, by the numbers, at the charts Top 100 artists, the artists with the most Hot 100 No. 1′s and top tens, the artists with the most overall Hot 100 hits, the biggest No. 2 hits, and more.

WONDERFUL! :D

Don't flog me, I do think Diana Ross deserves to have the Supremes' material lumped in with her solo stuff... which I belive would push her up past Madonna.

Also, lumping Paul McCartney with Wings, yet not his huge contribution to the Beatles is... skewed.

Still, I love to see Madonna's chart impact so heavily celebrated!
