It's only 2 years away from the 25th year it came out! Yes or no? :smug::queenbitch::fag:

No thanks. That was a one-time only thing. Madonna should never feel the need to repeat herself.

No. This book was a brave, daring and artistic product of the time and also the frame of mind Madonna was in. Does not need to be repeated again. Keep it as a once off piece of brilliance. Remakes of any kind don't ever have the same impact.

wait!!! I made a mistake!!! I thought the question was if I wanted a re-edition...that´s no! and a new book...well, I didn´t even want the first one, and I liked it.I onlye want a new book if it makes sense, if there is some sort of message

I mis-read the question. I'm all for a limited edition re-print but not for a new book. What would be the point? She was making a statement originally. A second would be just an excuse to get naked/be controversial I feel.

But she'd be 59 years old and w/ all her mega anti ageism crusade (as we speak, she's working eagerly on the title 'queen of re-inventing/squashing ageism'!)! and that BODY, I think it would be potentially brilliant. I'm not saying at all have it be as graphic and controversial but something age appropriate (like when Farrah and others who were over 50 posed for Playboy etc..) but it was all done in a classy, sexy way. Obviously, if she even 'went' there (far as the marketing and branding) of using the same book title, it's just SO infamous to this day! and legendary now that the publicity alone would cause sales to potentially be off the chart!

I think we've all spoken.

Shall we close this thread now?

So why..so far is she winning w/ the 'yes' option ? :horn::inlove::flirt:

Because people thought you meant a reprinting

Face it boo, the thread title is misleading

Yeah, but what if she did a new one (again not as over the top and more age appropriate) and feat. Kim K/ Kayne, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Brangelina, Miley, J Law, Beyonce/Jay Z, Will Smith/Jada, Jlo? You soo know almost of them would be on board in a second and it would create close to the same frenzy as the '92 legendary version!! :D

lol maybe but when open the thread and *see the poll question, it's very clear what I'm asking :spankmonkey:

Plus, there's NO way they'd do a reprinting since the original is one of the most lucrative, sought after out of print selling books ever! lol F I wish I had $50 in 92 lol. I soo woulda bought like 3 copies and prob. gotten $2000 total for them today on e-bay or whatever.

I would buy it if she did it but I absolutely do not think she should.

Definitely not a retread of what she's already done. It was beautiful and revolutionary but that was in 1992.

She should definitely have them bring it back into print for a limited time though, make it a limited edition thing for those who never experienced it the first time around. Combine a re-publication with a special in depth interview with her now about the making of it, what it meant then and what it means now culturally would be a very exciting way to see it turn 25!

There's no point in a re-release since it's everywhere on the net. If you want a physical copy, check eBay.

I love that it's OUT OF PRINT.

No re-print and no remake. Both are bad ideas.

This is what I wore today! Didn't know the 25th was coming up in 2017! Time flies!

No to the "SEX" book Part 2... BUT, I wouldn't mind seeing her do another pro photo 'art' book, but about a different subject altogether.

Posted

NO to a reprint, just means all us who brought the original in 92 lose its value :(

YES to SEX II. It's like when you see those porn adds: would you fuck this old lady tonight? and you giggle thinking that is someone's slutty Grandma being a slut :)

Gods knows her music is flopping and not reaching the masses so what would be the harm, but doing it from a geriatrics point of view that sex and being a slut does not stop once you reach a certain age. It would be the last taboo demolished.
