Sky Fits Heaven Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 In your opinion, which Madonna's studio album has the most fillers tracks?
Apples388 Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Bedtime Stories. "I'd Rather be Your Lover" "Don't Stop" "Forbidden Love" "Love Tried to Welcome Me" "Inside of Me"
Guest Madonna Bowie Prince Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 As much as I love the album, I think Erotica has a few filler tracks, e.g. Did you do it? Also as Suedehead said Bedtime Stories has some filler tracks too.
MPowered Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Erotica! Why's It So Hard Did You Do It (the worst filler EVER!) In This Life Where Life Begins Waiting Secret Garden Bye Bye Baby Erotica should've been like this in my opinion... 1. Erotica (including sung verses, the You Thrill Me part as pre-chorus and the Erotic, erotic, etc. part as chorus) 2. Fever 3. Deeper and Deeper 4. Waiting 5. Goodbye to Innocence 6. Bad Girl 7. Shame 8. Thief of Hearts 9. Words [Demo] 10. Rain 11. Bye Bye Baby 12. Secret Garden
Guest Coked Up Baby Boy Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Erotica without Why's It So Hard is DISGUSTING. Bedtime Stories, Like A Virgin.
loomer Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Discounting American Life - where do we begin? I'd say Erotica.. but that's more symptomatic of the double album length, it all works but taken out of context there's some trivial stuff on there.

Where Life Begins 5. Bad Girl 6. Thief of Hearts 7. Rain 8. Why's it so Hard 9. Waiting 10. Dear Father 11. Secret Garden

loomer Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 1. Erotica (including sung verses, the You Thrill Me part as pre-chorus and the Erotic, erotic, etc. part as chorus) Oh and another case of gross SACRILEGE in this thread! Yes, You Thrill Me was ace - but remember that was the reupholstered disco version from Confessions, likely significantly reworked from the original. As it is the original Erotica is purest perfection, it could not be bettered. This is like hacking pieces of the Mona Lisa and changing the smile to make it look "prettier".
Guest Madonna Bowie Prince Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 Bye Bye Baby is DISGUSTING. Fixed.
Supernatural Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 True Blue only has 2 or 3 filler tracks but on a short hit filled album they really stick out.
MPowered Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Hard Candy You know there is one thing about Hard Candy as a whole that I like...every fucking track has a different feel to it...and I think that's why she excluded Pala Tute aka Latte and Across the Sky. The album could have been waaay better with these tracks on it but they sound too much like Miles Away. And Animal...It's a great track but it doesn't fit in with the album's vibe it would have been too different.
Guest astonishing! Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 True Blue only has 2 or 3 filler tracks but on a short hit filled album they really stick out. I agree.'Where's The Party' especially.
Nightshade Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Erotica, for sure. Bedtime Stories and Music are close seconds.
IslandBreeze Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 American Life, of course. But that would require having great songs to contrast. In that case, I think Erotica has the most fillers. BS, Music, and LAV would follow in that order.
ULIZOS Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Secret Garden is a filler? That song is fantastic.
erotica blu Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 You bitches are sickening. Where's the good taste? All this Erotica and American Life bashing. Bitches please!
acko Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 Y'all a buncha whores. That being said: TRUE BLUE.
Mistachristopha Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 american life and music. i found so many songs on those albums so dull. i guess i'm in the minority who think bedtime stories is a great album?
Je5u5 Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 It's either "Like A Virgin" or "I'm Breathless". All that talk about "Secret Garden" being filler is pure blasphemy.
magom Posted October 11, 2011 Posted October 11, 2011 I almost love Erotica the way it is (Did you do it is the only thing I would never understand) LIKE A VIRGIN BEDTIME STORIES
