It's Human Nature: Britney, Justin Keep Their Distance at Madonna Show

Thu., Nov. 6, 2008 11:33 PM PST by Natalie Finn

Madonna had her bases covered at Dodger Stadium tonight, although she was careful not to double up.

The pop über-star's Sticky & Sweet tour was made all the more saucy Thursday when long-ago couple Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake joined her onstage—albeit not at the same time.

Spears, clad in black pants, a white tuxedo-style shirt and black heels, shared the spotlight with Madonna on the third song of the night, "Human Nature"—which, incidentally came pretty late in the evening because the show started nearly three hours late.

The delay possibly had to do with Wednesday's lighting and technical difficulties, which halted construction on the Material Girl's set.

"Half of my stage is missing...which is why we're in the dark," Madonna informed the crowd later on.

"The absence of light makes it very hard to look into the audience eyes and that's what makes performing such a joy. So come close. And thank you for your understanding."

Meanwhile, Madge's erstwhile makeout partner skedaddled from the stage long before Timberlake appeared to duet with the belle of the ball on their Hard Candy tune "4 Minutes."

We hear that Spears, surrounded by bodyguards, immediately took off following Timberlake's appearance. So much for the face time, but perhaps the two of them breathing the same rarified air is as good as it's going to get for awhile.

Adding to the evening's A-list quotient were audience members Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum, Carrie Underwood, Dennis Quaid, Hayden Panettiere, Fergie, Kate Moss and Amanda Bynes.

A-ROD was there last night :vanitybonet:

"While he was singing his part, she strutted over to Justin and began grinding on him," one audience member recalls to OK!. "He didn't seem to mind. In fact, he had a really mischievous grin on his face."

We can only hope that Madonna's alleged man-friend, baseball stud Alex Rodriguez wasn't getting too jealous as he watched the show from the front of the audience.

"Alex seemed to be enjoying himself," says a Madonna fan who spotted A-Rod in the crowd. "He was moving to the music and he was definitely paying attention to Madonna on the stage."

Britney and Justin Perform at Madonna Concert

Hollyscoop

She's done it again! Over 50,000 fans showed up to Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles tonight to get a glimpse of the Queen of Pop and her candy shop. After a 3 hour wait, Madonna delivered--and with surprise performances by Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.

It was like the pop princess was back from the dead when Britney joined Queen Madge on stage for a special performance of "Human Nature." Although Britney did very little singing, she had a really strong presence on stage. She danced around while Madonna sang, "She's not your bitch," pointing to Britney, to which Britney replied, "It's Britney Bitch!" Madge then kissed Britney's hand and bid her farewell. It was definitely one of the many highlights of the night.

Towards the end of the show Justin Timberlake hit the stage to perform “4 minutes” with Madonna. Their performance was similar to their music video in that it had great chemistry and even better dance moves. Strange as it sounds, although Justin performed an entire song with Madonna, he didn't work up the crowd the way Britney did (sic).

Although there were no personal shout outs, when Madonna began singing "She's Not Me," there was a strong sense of anger and passion in her voice. Several Madonna wannabes were on stage, and she began lashing out on each of them yelling, "She's not me, she's not me, and she never will be!" There was so much tension and anger in her performance, it left audience members wondering if there was another woman involved in her split from Guy Ritchie.

In true "Sticky & Sweet" style, Madonna paid homage to Barack Obama, expressing her excitement over our new President, yet she was still sad that Prop 8 passed and urged the crowd to keep fighting. She told the crowd, "If we can have a black President, we will one day have gay marriage," which made the crowd go wild.

Proving that she's still got it, the concert brought in some of Hollywood's biggest names. Sitting front and center was Jennifer Lopez, Kate Moss, Ryan Seacrest, and Lucy Liu. We also spotted Isla Fisher, Lisa Rinna, Bridget Moynahan, Debi Mazar, Rita Wilson, Donald Sutherland, Dennis Quaid, Amanda Bynes, Rachel Zoe and Tila Tequila, among others.

Security was so tight at the venue at one point after using the restroom Kate Moss couldn’t get back to her seat because she didn’t have her ticket stub on her. Security wouldn’t allow the supermodel to get through until someone from her camp finally told him, “Its Kate Moss!”

Madonna may be going through some tough times in her personal life, but her career is clearly still on fire. While singing "Give It 2 Me" she kept chanting, “Nothing will ever stop me.” And indeed nothing has! She danced, hopped, jump roped, humped her guitar, dancers and stripper pole without breaking a sweat. At 50 years old, she moves her body in a way that will put any 25 year old to shame. Tickets didn't come cheap, as fans paid up to $350 for decent floor seats, but it was money well spent. There's a reason why Madonna is and always will be the Queen of Pop.

Madonna reunites Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake at Dodger Stadium

Newsday.com

Madonna, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake rocked Dodger Stadium Thursday night, to the delight of a sold-out crowd that was there to take in Madge's Sticky & Sweet tour.

The pop legend's 'surprise guests' didn't actually appear on stage together, according to E! online.

Instead, Spears came out on stage for the third song, Human Nature, and was long gone before Timberlake showed to sing '4 Minutes' with the Material Girl.

According to E!, A-list stars like Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum and Carrie Underwood were in the audience--along with the likes of Fergie, Kate Moss, Amanda Bynes, Dennis Quaid and Hayden Panettiere.

Entertainment Tonight:

ET was on the scene at Madonna's L.A. concert Thursday night as the Material Mom gave Dodger Stadium an extra "sticky and sweet" treat: Britney Spears took the stage!

Half way through Madonna's hit song "Human Nature," Britney made her way onto the stage for a jaw-dropping, joint performance -- where the two simultaneously sang, "We're not sorry -- It's human nature." After the duet, the pop princess made an outfit change and came back to watch the show!

Madonna's children -- Lourdes, 12, and Rocco, 7 -- were brought out from the backstage area just ten minutes before the big performance kicked off to watch their mom rock the house. Also on hand for Madonna's big LA show was A-list star Jennifer Lopez!
