I saw Madiva on Saturday too she was outside and she was wearing the outfit for Heartbeat ( i guess that's the same as the ITG outfit.

Anyway I walked right past her, she was taking photos with people, she gave me a 'you wanna take a pic with me look' she had a smile, and i just looked at her like she was like one of those hotdog/grill stands you find on every corner in Manhattan.

did you love it yent?

:clap::clap: WOW, WOW, AND A BIG FRIGGIN' WOWWWWW!!!! That's what I have to say after witnessing Madonna last night at MSG! I truly was impressed this go around (as I was with COADF). One thing that immediately struck me and I think it was said here before, was how the "dancers" really took a back-seat to the BIG M. This show was all about her, her and MORE her. Her voice was in top-notch form and her energy level was bloody fantastic!

The sound system was great too, much less muffled than on the COAF tour. Also, the set seemed a lot smaller to me than previous shows, which was kind of nice. It really felt like one of M's shows from years ago, somewhere between Who's That Girl and Blonde Ambition with a little of the Virgin Tour excitement thrown in for good measure. Ok, like anyone cares, here are the highlights to me:

The songs, the songs, THE SONGS, what a GREAT setlist:

Candy Shop - perfect way to open, set the stage so to speak

Beat Goes On - my all-time favorite "new" Madonna classic, has all of the right elements to me, her voice was sooo strong on this one, hello MADONNA the SINGER!

Vogue - How cool was this, great [4 Minutes] remix, awesome dance moves

Into The Groove - This to me was an assault on ALL of the senses, visually stunning, vocally top-notch, cool old-school vibe, but new sound overall.

Heartbeat - The BEST part was the hard-rock ending, friggin awesome, how come no one told be about that, that really took me by surprise, where the heck is the demo of that!!!

Borderline - Loved it, still would have preferred the original arrangement but nice to hear this song and the sing-a-long factor that went with it.

She's Not Me - My favorite part was the look-a-likes, so cool!

Music - great arrangement, kind of tired of this one though by now.

Devil Wouldn't Recognise You - Vocally really nice, love the 3-D screen concept and then the cloak and dagger effect into the Gypsy outfit, visually stunning too!

Spanish Lesson - Not nearly as bad as I expected, actually quite good and a fun departure...loved the whold Spanish Guitar stuff and the dancing.

Miles Away - I would have preferred her doing this song MINUS the guitar, I feel like her vocals always suffer whenever she plays and it's such a lovely sing-a-long song, another "new" Madonna classic to me!

La Isla Bonita - Great arrangement, wish she would re-record it, I liked the whold Gypsy stuff, gets the crowd totally romping!

Like A Prayer - THE BEST MOMENT IN THE SHOW BY FAR, I WANT THIS MASH UP NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Give It To Me - So-so arrangement, would have preferred PUMPED UP original, the melody kind of got lost but GREAT WAY TO END THE SHOW.

That's all folks....

poor forgotten Hung Up and Ray of Light... :|

Yeah, I know...not really highlights for me, sorry. I didn't forget 'em I purposely omitted them, they could have easily been replaced with songs we haven't heard a zillion times....I'm getting tired of the guitar frenzy of Ray of Light and I can't really appreciate Hung Up's new arrangement either.

Sunday's show was crazy fun too; however, it'll be hard to top Saturday's show. I was in sec 74 and had a great vantage point; it was like I was on the stage with M! Plus I got to see her get her makeup touched up and stuff like that. All in all, my first 2 S&S shows were totally SWEET! Dare I say....I think this might be my favorite tour yet...it's just so FUN!!!

Madiva was in POD A Row 1 Seat 1 she almost got booted, she didnt look Happy. It would of been perfect to see Madonna pull him/her up on the stage during She's Not Me and smack the shit out of her. Marc Jacobs was there wearing a skirt and skipping with his b/f he we is so fugly and was high as a Kite. I got to meet my favorite Porn Star Tony Serrano :) He is so f'ing Hot :). Other than that my 5th Madonna show was amazing as ever... Now I need to start filling my bank account for 2010 LOLOL. Hector thanks for the pic of my in the audience sorry we didnt get to hang we will do it soon.

I saw the show for the second time last night from the 100 level (105 or 106 I think), and eventhough I was further away I enjoyed myself just as much. The seats were great, not too high up. For the NJ show I was 2nd row in front of the catwalk which honestly can't be beat because:

1: M was feet in front of me

2: It was US opening night

and 3: It was my first time seeing this tour, so it was alot to take in at once.

It was great last night to take it all in from a different perspective and pick up on the little things I may have missed 1st time around. Also since I was higher up and on a slight angle I could see underneath the stage when it opened up and see the dancers running around underneath, and the piano being set up for Devil etc. which was cool.

She started at 9:45. The sound was MUCH MUCH better than IZOD (as expected) though during La Isla the speaker kept popping. The crowd was great too, almost everyone in the entire place was up the whole night (with the exception of the half the row behind me). In fact, everyone in arena was up right from the start until the opening bars of the Rain interlude. By that point everyone sat for Devil and a few of us got up for Spanish Lesson until everyone stood for Miles Away.

She did 'I Love New York' during the requests after turning down some requests. Alot of people around me didn't seem to know it. All around me people were yelling for Open Your Heart, she really needs to drag that one out next time around or else . There were a few people in the first few rows with signs for NOTHING REALLY MATTERS :dramatic: which she looked at and turned down. No Palin speech, she said she didn't want to bother or something.

I have to head out now but I'm planning a setlist breakdown for tomorrow :)

I was wondering what they were holding up. She seemed to not like their request saying "I said an oldie but goodie."

Was security checking bags for cameras on the way in? I'm trying to decide whether to bring my digital camera to Boston. Help!

I had a bag from Virgin, and all the dude did was take a quick peak in it and that was it. They dont check for shit. Actually if I was Madonna I would be pissed about that. Too many nuts out there to be so relaxed.

Oh! And another person there who was sitting in front of me was "Willy Wonka" from Im Going to Tell You a Secret.

That scene in the film still cracks me up.

"Thats not a real name."

Be careful with this. Even if you get it in the venue you could get nabbed by security inside if they catch you taking photos. It seems to be different every tour. DWT at the Garden they were strict about cameras. RIT at The Worcester Centrum they were militaristic about it and were throwing people out for taking pictures. My date that night actually got escorted out for taking photos (they let him back in shortly after). At TCT though they were completely lax about it and didn't care if you took pictures. This time, who knows? Based on the NJ and NYC shows they don't seem to be strict about it.

Thanks for the responses! I'm going to try it and hope for the best! The tickets say NO CAMERAS but then again, all tickets for concerts say that! The Garden's website says no cameras with detatchable lenses, etc. but digital cameras are fine.

I agree with Topaz, be careful. It depends on the venue, and which night at the venue sometimes. I didn't bring a camera at all this tour but eaily could've this time. At MSG I wasn't checked at all, the guy waved me through and didn't even stop me. At the NJ show they patted me down and made me empty my pockets.

Was it really "Nothing Really Matters" that she turned down? And to think fans have been putting that one on every ideal setlist since 2004. :rotfl:

she really started at 945? That has to be a record??? The one DW show started after 10pm but that was a power failure that delayed that show

When I was there on the Saturday show someone passed out some papers with I'll Remember she commented and said that she didn't want to do a ballad.

LOL She is so hilarious she is asking us to pick a song and she won't do what we want!!!

When I go to Denver I am thinking to hold up a sign that would say: RESCUE ME, BAD GIRL, maybe SKIN?

Well, it's all staged. She already has the song picked out in advance. I imagine she may see requests at some shows and use that to influence her song choice for later shows. I think that's why she's switched it up more here in the U.S.

I'm hoping we get a completely different song for one or both of the Boston shows.
