Are you saying she needs to release one more album as final part of the live nation contract or the contract is finished so she's looking to put something out separately before she does a film?

Either way, yay if we get more music, probably the end of the tour!!!

I'm saying that it's possible that, finished the three albums contract with Live Nation, she could release an album with the best tracks from the last decade.

Where did you get this info from? I’d love to read more about it

Just some supposed insider rumour, that's why I was checking the attendibility here. The possible arguments in support are basically two, but really don't know if it has to be considered a reliable news:

    • it's the end of the Live Nation collaboration and releasing a compilation with new tracks and a deluxe with some bonus is something they could consider to do, especially with the long pause she will take to direct the future movie.
    • there are a few tracks from the Madame X session we heard about she never released, especially the one written with the piano palyer who performed with her at the Met Ball, reported to be the author of a track for the new album, and the one she collaborated with Nakhane to.
  3. So still no clues from the insiders about the Madame X unreleased tracks ... I'm curious to know how many songs are approximately still out there and if they're fado or afro oriented, too. I'd also like to hear some clues about possible titles. And is it true a few tracks are already in store for a future release, connected to a compilation project? Can anybody help please?

  4. Wow this is one of the most heartfelt videos of her career, in a way it reminds me of the feeling I got from the Secret video, one of my favourites. Gorgeous experience, beautiful woman who's at her artistic pic again after a 37 years long career: God bless her, God bless her!

  5. This is the first time since Ray of Light that I just cut some tracks out, this album is PERFECT. Singles choices included (except Medellin). My current playlist:

    1. Dark Ballet
    2. God Control
    3. Future
    4. Batuka
    5. Killers Who Are Partying
    6. Crave
    7. Come Alive
    8. I Don't Search I Find
    9. Faz Gostoso
    10. Extreme Occident
    11. I Rise
    12. Ciao Bella
    13. Crazy (bonus track)

So today they just closed down madonnainfinity because they couldn't handle the negativity any more, the admin posted a goodbye note. wtf

I see Mtribe going the same route as well sooner or later , it's a long time coming.. It's sad to see what some places that are meant to celebrate the greatest entertainer alive have become. There's so much toxicity.

Anyway thank God for MadonnaNation. And sorry for intrerupting, carry on.

Infinity was the first ever forum I subscribed to, it happened during the 2014 Rebel Heart leak gate and I have to say I felt home there after 5 years. Today I went to connect right back from work and could not, so I looked for the Facebook account to understand what happened and I found it also deleted. Now, reading your post, I'm finally learning what happened. Fighter tried to say that multiple times, it's sad 'cause, believe me, there were many nice people in that community and the media section we built up was really remarkable, but I understand him and respect him. I was on the forum last night, she was on stage and there was a group of guys who wnt on and on talking about her butt implants, I found it unbelievable.

Anyway, yesterday she was flawless for me, absolutely flawless. What I want is good music (the main thing), creativity and boldness, energy (wich doesn't mean always jumping or making flips), vision, fashion and vocals and you know what? I feel in this era I'm really having it all. Yesterday she was politically straight and clear, visually impeccable (the dancers reverse walk flow and finale in I Rise, the staircase repositioning and the little moves with the soldiers during American Life), she took on stage excellent and complex choreos (Vogue was fun and I adored the spies legs moves during the rap part as the theatrical idea of the center stage typewriter, as I found the God Control rendition just perfect and much more energetic than what I would have thought). Vocally I heard some difficulty just in American life, nothing in comparison with the Eurovision version of Like a Prayer (even if I still think the Future part still deserves much more recognition and appreciation, it was soooo good guys), and about her look, listen, respectfully: WHO DOES REALLY GIVE SUCH A CINEMATIC FACE AND BREATHLESS CLOSE UP TODAY? WHO?! She's 61 and I honestly love to see her growing and going on in her artistic path, releasing one of her best album of her entire career, with at least three amazing videos so far.

So maybe the only thing I hope her to focus on more in this moment is her vocal training: also Streisand, who still has a gorgeous and intense voice, from her 60s started to change her crystalline high notes tone, it's absolutely natural, that's why some vocal exercize could help. But what I saw last night had so much quality that I just can't wait to start hearing the first rumours about her next full show

  7. If so it's just half an hour away ... please someone stream or record this in any way possible!!

Have fun ... will you share some pics, vids or details after the show, please?

I hope it will be broadcasted in a way but, I don't know, I think we would have heard something about it at this point, so we just can relate to the luckiest of us who's going to attend the Madame X live debut

  9. Ok, just finished my first listening. This is the record I've been hoping for years, till stopping to wait some time ago. I went on following her, deeply liking just a few songs each album since Ray of Light. And yet I stayed cause she repersents so much for me and because her voice, attitude and live shows are peerless. But now this is a full return to the music: this is the Madonna I've always been here for and I'm incredibly happy to meet her agian after all this time.

As, after a vary flat and low phase, Rebel Heart was a return to form, in terms of melodic solidity and catchy hooks (worsen by the heaviest production possible), Madame X is a statement of musical freedom, curiosity, maturity and boldness; as Rebel Heart was at the continuous reasearch of impact effects and emotional picks, Madame X is anticlimatic and rarefied, deconstructed and full of unpredictable turns; as Rebel Heart was discontinuous and chaotic, Madame X is a full run, a coherent and flowing experience. I'm surprised by how all the genres presented in the album seem to integrate each other in such a smooth and graceful way. I can't understand whoever think she is interested in charts with this ... for me this is the zone of the same girl that, after Like a Prayer, at the top of her career, released a cold, metallic and uncompromising work as Erotica.

This albun could not find better locations than theatres and it's really gonna be an experience this time (waiting for you Lisbon!!). I can see her going deep in her back catalogue to some good old songs (Secret, Rain, The power of goodbye), a pair of deep cuts (To have and not to hold, Love profusion, Rescue me, even Secret Garden or Pray for Spanish Eyes would meet the mood) and really revisited versions of major classics. I had not heard any other song except Medellin till now, so I simply wanna add, having read some disappointment about the structure of Dark Ballet, that the song is a ballet indeed, not to be heard as a traditional track imo. I wouldn't compare it to an interlude. Here and then the lyrics are cringy, it's got to be said, but the whole thing breaths life in and out: love, courage, commitment, sharing, sensuality, hope, strenght.

God Control, I don't search I find, Dark Ballet, Crave, Killers, Extreme Occident, Future, Come Alive and Faz Gostoso are my first listening favourites... welcome back M, where the f...ck have you been?!

  10. Full Times review ...

Ever since she emerged from New York in the early 1980s, Madonna’s moderate abilities in music, singing and dancing have been more than made up for in searing ambition, an ability to work with the right people at the right time and a brittle form of bravery, with outer toughness masking inner frailty. Now comes probably her boldest, certainly her strangest, album yet. Madame X veers between pop, Latin and clubby dance music, jumps from the personal to the political and is bound together by an exotic, breezy mood that feels strangely intimate, as if she is revealing a hitherto hidden part of her soul. She isn’t really, of course, but she does a good job of pretending she is.

Dark Ballet, recorded with the French producer Mirwais, throws all of these qualities into one three-part experimental epic. Over piano-led, minor-key pop, Madonna variously tells us that she can dress like a boy or a girl as she wishes, castigates the world for being obsessed with fame and concludes by saying that some unnamed people, at a guess Donald Trump and his team, are naive to think that we aren’t aware of their crimes. At one point she says something indecipherable in a half robot, half Disney princess voice. It is quite a trip.

Then there is Killers Who Are Partying, on which Madonna goes the full Bono as she identifies with Africa, poor people, exploited children and pretty much everyone else who isn’t a rich, old, golf-playing white man. “I’ll be poor, if the poor are humiliated,” she claims over a touch of Portuguese fado, and although you suspect that she isn’t really about to give up her life as the most successful female pop star yet and wander the Earth as a penniless ascetic, the sentiment is there. “I’ll be Islam if Islam is hated,” she continues. “I’ll be Israel if they’re incarcerated.” World peace through song may be a naive endeavour, as John Lennon found out five decades ago, but this flash of idealism at a time of rising global division is welcome nonetheless.

There are straightforward pop songs, such as the country-leaning Crave and the English/Portuguese Crazy, but the most captivating moments push the boat out. The Latin-tinged Batuka has a wayward quality reminiscent of Brazil’s late-1960s tropicalia movement and features the unequivocally Trump-bashing line “Get that old man and put him in jail”.

It wouldn’t be a Madonna album with a bit of overt sexuality and Faz Gostoso (“make it tasty”) pours the sauce over a samba rhythm, while on I Don’t Search I Find she reconnects with her core audience via the medium of high-energy, pumping house music. Finally comes I Rise, an empowerment anthem with a sample of the now-famous speech by the Parkland shooting survivor Emma González.

  11. This is not just a normal Pride, it's the 50th and I think she is doing it as a way to take part of it, thank back and support the  community, our battle and the rights defense itself. But are we really always just wanna look at how glamorous the things she is doing are? It's a happy news guys, let's cheer at this ... now, my real problem is: is there gonna be a f...king live streaming?!?

  12. Ok, an insider from another M forum, proved to be reliable, answered with these words about the second project in a way or another ...

It’s not a new album, yet another greatest hits collection. There aren’t many unreleased songs from this session, but it sounds like we’ll hear them soon. She has lots of surprises up her sleeve this time around...

And commented about the Killers video description and the Pride shooting "Fairly accurate": @Mensch your source seems to be a real insider, he told you  all real news.

So, in a way or another, I think we're gonna have some more music after the official release, wich really I can't wait to get anymore (I'm one of those who just heard Medellin to save the complete album first listening vibe intact, so you can imagine ...)

My only question is why would she give us 3 additional bonus tracks rather than saving them for a potential 2nd album?

Well, it depends on the style of the tracks. Apparently Madame X is mostly about world music and mid tempos, with just one disco exception. It's possible that the hashtagged #discogod Mirways produced with her some cool tracks wich didn't fit the main project. Also there is still some ambiguity about the Nakhane collab not being released... who knows, sure it's hard to believe, but maybe a mixtape EP in that case could have been the perfect solution
