Crazy For You and Papa Don't Preach got major Grammy nods for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance of 1985 and 1986

There was no Best Pop Album category until 1994 or dance categories

True Blue and Like a Prayer shouldve been nominated for album of the year

Bedtime Stories was nominated for Best pop album in 1996, wasn’t it?

    Welp

At least something from Madame X got nominated... even though it's for a remix of her worst song. Congrats to Tracy, queen

Shes too old to get Grammy nominations for major categories. Bruce Springsteen doesn't get any Grammy nominations either.

Grammys lean toward young, mainstream acts.

Its sad that back in the 80s when Madonna was young, she didn't get any major category Grammy nominations for Like a Virgin, True Blue or Like a Prayer album.

She was number one in Canada. There is nothing weird about it. It has happened before. It has also happened where she is not number one in any country.

Madame X debuts at no. 2 on Canada album chart.

I think its because Madame X tour doesn't have any shows in Canada. That makes general public didn't buy Madame X.

This is true. Ray of Light, Rebel Heart, The Immaculate Collection and Erotica all should have been #1 albums. A shame ugh...but they still sold a ton. 🙂

I'm mad because Immaculate Collection was held off at no 2 by one hit wonder Vanilla Ice album. He is in oblivion now but at least he was on the photos in Madonna Sex book. 🙂

Why are sales through ticket redemption somehow seen as less worthy than a flat sale done on a whim? First of all, you don't HAVE to choose "yes", secondly, most people that go to her shows are more likely to purchase her album anyways.

Because Madame X tour doesn't have that many shows (tickets) compared to MDNA tour or RH tour that's why the album redemption ticket bundles are not so many.
