I think I listened to the albums Ray Of Light, Music, Confessions for at least 2 years in full with no skipping...after these albums I found myself going back to a handful of songs after the first few months of release...
Madame X I’ve been listening to all the way through almost once everyday since release & im picking up on new sounds, words, feelings all the time. I think this ones going into the same league for me as the albums I mentioned at the top of this post.

Just watched the Video...greatness. Whoever said in this thread why is she smiling so much is stupid-she isn’t that much & joy/sadness go hand in hand.
This reaffirms to me when Madonna posted that insta pic of her Jay z/Beyoncé in the Louvre staring at a wall full of her pics and captioned it “learning from the master” - she was fucking right.
if this was the 80’s/90’s - the videos for Medellin, Dark Ballet, GC, Batuka would have been acclaimed as masterpieces by now and been nominated/won countless awards.

with regards to Batuka video I don’t think she appears on green screen, you can see her clearly with the Batukadieras in the insta snippets

Just listened to Beyoncé’s Gift album - can safely & confidently say that Madonna’s MX album is a much better ‘world infused Afro inspired’ album than B’s Gift.
M’s pop sensibilities are far superior and to think she worked with full creative control with a bunch of fewer collaborators rather than B’s industry filled help proves that M is still a genius and at the top of her game.
when is the world going to give due credit to this woman’s (Madonna’s) musical talents!!!!!

Wtf are people going on about...eras do not last 2-3 years anymore! For anyone!those days are gone.
Plus you should be including the tour in your era calculations-therefore Madame X era won’t end until after the tour completes in quarter 1 of 2020.

What a wonderful, intelligent little documentary...
which other pop star can talk about their album creation with such depth! This is the kind of detail that goes into awards recognition so I hope the Grammy voters are paying attention Cz she needs to be rewarded for this passion project!

Medellín was a good choice as 1st single it had broad worldwide appeal...
FG can still be a hit - it’s “winter” in the Southern Hemisphere now so a video in August could still arrive in time for both Northern summer and southern summer...
lastly, to all the crackheads who were moaning about Anita featuring on this album way back in 2018 Cz of her views etc u all seem to have shut the fuck up now! Our Qween knows best!

Other than Beyoncé’s lemonade or Solanges album or Janelle Monaes recent - I can’t think of any other album in the last 5 years with such strong concept with a message and eclectic sounds ...
Madame X is that! No pop tartlet has produced anything of Madame Xs quality there entire careers, looking at you taylor,Gaga,Ariana, Britney...
our Queen still doesn’t get the credit she deserves- imagine if Ariana Released Madame X they’d be calling her a fucking genius!
On another note just seen media is positively reporting on 75 yr olds Mick Jaggers return to performing the same fucking show he has done for 59 years...nobody’s even suggesting him to retire!

it was v.good! She was funny & engaging.
Graham did a really good job of asking some in-depth questions for a ‘chat show’ - the other guests looked fascinated by what she had to say!

The message message of the song/video is strong & clear - I don’t think anyone could twist it.
MTV should have given this song/video the “woke/social msg” award at the VMAs as a timely reminder about gun control in the USA.
