  1. This is shocking and quite random.

At least five people have been killed and two others injured in the Norwegian town of Kongsberg by a man armed with a bow and arrow, police said.

The attacker’s motive was not yet clear, Aas said, but police were not ruling out terrorism. “One person has performed these actions alone,” he said. “It is natural to consider whether it is an act of terrorism. But the man has not been questioned and it is too early to come to any conclusion.”

  2. Wasn't it their crackdown on the LGBT community that started all this off? I thought the EU threatened some kind of sanctions?

And I read the Danes, Dutch and Italians were all considering leaving in the last few years.

But this is the only one where it's because of a clash with the EU.

  3. Millions of documents reveal offshore deals and assets of more than 100 billionaires, 30 world leaders and 300 public officials.

    This could get interesting!

They include the ruler of Jordan, King Abdullah II, who has amassed a secret $100m property empire spanning Malibu, Washington and London. The king of Jordan declined to answer specific questions but said there would be nothing improper about him owning properties via offshore companies.

Tony and Cherie Blair saved hundreds of thousands of pounds in property taxes when acquiring a London office building from an offshore company partially owned by a prominent Bahraini minister.

The files also show that Azerbaijan’s ruling Aliyev family has traded close to £400m of UK property in recent years.

The prime minister of the Czech republic, Andrej Babiš, who is up for election this week, is facing questions over why he used an offshore investment company to acquire a $22m chateau in the south of France.

I was just reading this article about people self-medicating with ivermectin. There have also been a bunch of stories about stores that deal in animal feed and care supplies only selling it to longtime customers known to pasture animals.

People are insane. Imagine denouncing vaccines but jumping at this.

There is some evidence that it works and it's currently being looked at which I think it's driving this but yes, still doesn't mean this version is suitable for human consumption.

It's quite shocking to see how people have behaved over the past couple of years.

Might be also porn studios not being too happy about performers getting rid of the middle man. I mean, look at Rhyheim Shabazz, his OF videos have good cinematography, multiple (hot) guys and cool concepts, and he's the only one making money off it. Of course boring and outdated studios like Men.com aren't going to sit and watch this.

No it really is the financial institutions but it's because there was child porn being loaded up. IIRC they're not a publicly listed company so it won't affect share price and perhaps they can create a business based around content creators like fitness instructors etc and lose the porn tag. More like Instagram. There are plenty of porn replacements.

Mask law and one metre rule set to end in England

So no more mask in England. What a strange decision, knowing it's far to be finished. This government is just giving up on its own responsibility.

There is some logic here. The idea is that it's summer so hospitals are less busy with other infections like the flu so can deal more easily with an increase in admissions, most of the most vulnerable are vaccinated and it's mainly the young who are getting it now who are less likely to require hospitalisation.

And honestly, I think they're at the point where if people who were offered the vaccine but didn't take it and get ill, that's their own problem.

  7. I don't think we need another Florida thread but here we go again.

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9655177/Naked-Florida-woman-tasered-police-trashing-restaurant.html

    • Tina Kindred, 53, was acting 'out of control,' according to reports, which led to a response from the Ocala Police Department on Monday
    • Kindred can be seen naked standing on top of a restaurant bar
    • She begins trashing the bar, pulling each bottle down and smashing them
    • Kindred emerges out of the bar and begins to approach a police officer
    • When she gets close, the cop deploys a taser, knocking Kindred to the ground
    • The cop yells at her to get on her stomach as he threatens to use it again
    • Outside of THC, however, Kindred did not appear to have any narcotics in her system after she was treated by medical staff
    • She has been charged with aggravated battery on law enforcement, as well as felony criminal mischief after doing thousands of dollars of damage
