hmm, i actually asked that because i've read about sound problems quite often today.

I don’t think it was the case. She doesn’t deserve the hate because it’s not a sin, and it happens to a lot of people all the time. She’s only human after all. And I do believe psychological factors got to her... she did something rather subversive and I believe she was a little anxious/scared? I don’t know...

I hope she takes care of her voice next time. weird show, and i disagree with a lot of her political view.
It's like ppl around her are unable to point out problems...idk.
weren't those sound issues detectable during rehearsals?

There were no sound issues. She had an off day. It wasn’t the first time and it won’t be the last.

She was nervous as hell, probably a little scared and maybe unprepared. It happens to most vocalists all the time.

I always thought it would be cool for her to do an intimate "unplugged" sort of event. A live band, some guest musicians, no dancing or theatrics. Upload the whole thing to youtube.

I’ve been dreaming with this for many ears. Some killer arrangements, even some electronic sounds could be use to create some atmosphere + her killer charisma...  it’d be so refreshing to see her like that.

I think Mike Dean and quavo are great at what they do. But for Madonna to use these people in her work she really needs to do THAT work. Not touch on elements. Look at how she used swae. Crave is beautiful. In future he raps random words like sparkle. It was like sheb had invited a toddler on with her.

She was guiding him throughout the entire thing.

Swae Lee is talented and he was super respectful to Madonna. Quavo not only had no idea who Madonna is and couldn’t even name a song but also threw shade saying his MOM used to listen to her....

  5. I suspect Madonna was still recovering from the cold she had around the time of the glaad awards. And due to the constant traveling she couldn’t recover properly. Maybe her throat was fucked up as well.

The thing that bothers me the most tho, is why Madonna still insist in hanging around with people like mike dean, quavo... I don’t know, they just bring her down and are clearly not at her level of artistry or professionalism.

Somebody in Madonna's circle needs to remind her she is an artist first and foremost and via her art she is an activist. She does art because she is a talented artist. She doesn't do art because she is an activist looking to get a message across. The difference may be subtle but it is there.

She rushed through LAP. Did not sing it like it was at MET GALA so she could get preachy on Future which was an inappropriate song for Eurovision in the first damn place. You have an album coming out for the first time in four years and you have an audience of 200m watching you and your priority is to pick the song that suits your "message?" NO. Superbowl she sang Like a Prayer and at the end flashed world peace. She could have sang I Rise with a full orchestra sitting in one spot so her voice would be great, and passed on a message with that. She could have electrified the audience with Medellin and then added LAP and her message. There is a whole host of things. Her new single is Crave. Who gets the opportunity to show your new single to 200m people and chooses to sing some random reggae teaser song because it matches the "message?'

She is getting carried away with this message and activist business. The beauty of Madonna is that she has always been that person. The artist activist. The activist artist. But it never affects her art. Now it has. She should have been more interested in putting on a damn great performance as the artist that she is and incorporating her message to it. Instead here it seems her priority is how do I get a message across and everything else will have to fit into that. That is why we had to suffer Quavo who did not know one madonna song and said his Mama used to listen to her.

I am sick. Imma need Debi Mazar to knock some sense into her. Somebody has to.

    I do not disagree.

  7. She was great,  not her best vocals, but she was brave with the imagery and the show she put on. Quavo has the charisma of a vanilla leaf, he’s lucky FUTURE is a great song. Anyway, she was a nerve wreck but she was entertaining as always!

  8. Cute song. Production is very sleek. I like the beat. Then again I love reggae and I think Quavo works here. Again, very radio friendly. Kind of song that would be a hit anywhere in the world. I like it,. You can’t compare it to UB, two different songs and different moods. I like it!!

Well, the songs so far haven't been exciting and feel pretty low energy. I don't say that to be insulting. I just haven't found any of the songs so far to be captivating. The rehearsal clip of Future seems to follow suit. So that's 4 blah songs released in a row. Not saying she has to release a dance floor stomper but something with some energy would be nice.

Maybe Madonna should not be doing anything at all. I think some people would be happier.
