Beautiful Scars shits all over the demo. Otherwise do you think Guy is gonna be fired? HOW COULD this happen? After all the massive leaks. hat kind of team de MERDE does Madonna have. She's surrounded by mediocre incompetents.
Yeah, her inside camp is as secure the Mexican border. Fire the lot!
-
Oh well, some bitch GOT ON Madonna's pole.
-
Well, this is a crying shame for Madonna.
-
If the album has indeed leaked, she had better do a Bjork!!

Thank you for that list. The leaks and variations have been exhausted so it has been hard to keep up. Bring on the album, already!

An insider at the Kabbollocks Centre!
-
It's not the artwork that bothers me but the horrific remixes!
-
I'm an ex-Queensland now exiled (!!) in Tasmania.
I saw her in Sydney during the Girlie Show (I am somewhere in the crowd in the footage of 'Girlie Show Down Under'!) and then again in Boston for 'The Drowned World Tour'. So, they are my only two live experiences of Madonna. From (dim) memory, they were both pretty good!
I am presently reading Molly Meldrum's biog, and Madonna is mentioned quite a bit. Yeah, it would be nice if they could do an interview together soon, especially since Molly's recovery from his accident.
My first sighting of Madonna was on 'Countdown' back in 1983 and my musical world has never been the same since!

Instantly appropriated as my pic!
-
Dubtronic, your extended mix definitely blows those 'official' remixes out of the water! Again, I bow down to ya!
-
Heartbreak City needs to stay. VVV can be a b-side!
-
It's so great!!!!!!! OMG, love it.
Far better than the official ones that have surfaced!
So true! The official mixes (besides Djemba Djemba) are sordid sonic messes! Go The 'tonic!
-
Dubtronic, this is brilliantly intuitive as an extended mix, as always from your talented hands! Why aren't you on the Ciccone payroll?!
-
Yeah, the new mixes are nothing special but they're still so much better than pretty much all the dreadful MDNA remixes. I don't how they manage to come up with SO many unlistenable versions.
As many have said, the Offer Nissim mix starts OK but just descends to standard Eurobar bollocks. The Rizzo mix is OK although it's pitched at the hairdressers on a hen do in the West End audience. The Thrill mix just seems to go nowhere.
Are there no good remixers out there?
How I miss the nineties with Morales, Masters at Work, Tenaglia, Vasquez etc...
Now all they have is eurobar bollocks from Guetta, Avicii and Calvin Harris churning out the same generic remix for every song.
I am hearing you!
-
The only songs that I REALLY hope make it are Inside Out, Beautiful Scars, Nothing Last Forever, and Wash All Over Me.
Agree with them!
-
I miss the extra backing vocals from the LCGC in LFL.
-
Yes!! It has so many fantastic elements, which makes it hard to pinpoint exactly what's so great about it. It's an exceptionally good song.
You hit the nail on the head. The lyrics, the way they are sung, the guitar, the beat...it all works spendidly well.
-
To me, the Djemba Djemba remix of LFL doesn't stray too much from the original's template, so in effect just sounds like an extended version of the single. It's a little disappointing, really. Hopefully the other remixes will generate more excitement.
-
I have to say, I love Body Shop too. It is so light and cheerful - it makes me smile and do a little geek dance every time I listen to it
And Madonna's voice is really lovely on this. As far as double entendres go, this beats 'Candy Shop' by a million musical miles.
-
Dubtronic does great extended versions, very sympathetic to the original flow. In fact, the extended of the demo 'I'm In Love With Love' was made even better!
-
Didn't she have a cold when she recorded the vocals for 'Falling Free'? I can hear it in the voice, but it really adds to it. MDNA is half a good album. There are some downright shitters, though >> GMAYL is probably her worst single ever, and GGW is lyrically poor (and I detest the upper infliction in '....like a girl gone wiiiiiild'.
-
I try to avoid articles on Madonna in the press (online and in print) as the general tone is negative and degrading. More often, the pictures of Madonna are unflattering, to further shine a bad light. We live in a world where there is a perverse thrill in putting people down, demonizing them and creating a sense of unworthiness about their craft. I know Madonna is beyond all this.
-
I was even thinking that a reworked version of Iconic could be a great tour opener!
I am with you on this one. Big screen, with a B&W video close-up of Madonna mouthing the words.........
