I was surprised at how many OLD ones I did not want her to perform!

One could perhaps wrongly assume that William is trying to discredit Madonna's involvement in some of these tracks from the Ray of Light album.
The proof is in the pudding. All co-writers and co-producers are credited in the album notes. Madonna helped elevate the songs from sonic doodlings to works of musical art.
The only person who should feel hard done by is Patrick Leonard. Perusing the credits again, his involvement is quite involved as writer and producer. Orbit gets the bulk of the credit in the media. Leonard and Marius De Vries had a big hand crafting the album WITH Madonna.

Madonna IS pop music!

Madonna definitely sings the song better than Chrisine Leach! Sorry, Christine.

^^ demo #2 of Devil Pray has leaked, for sure. Includes guitar twang like from a Western movie.

I think if RH had been released as a double album, with all the dancefllor bangers on the Rebel side and all the introspective tracks (including LFL) on the Heart side, the album wouldn't seem so disjointed.
Still, a stellar effort from the constantly amazing Madonna x

Isn't another version of the demo for Devil Pray on the www now?

Interesting....

I know everyone hates Kanye, but his production work on the Rebel Heart tracks did improve them (IMO). I think he brought a lot of that Yeezus sound (industrial hiphop) and quite frankly, it gives things an edge they would otherwise not have. And I love it. I would take an entire Madonna album of it some day.
I'd take a whole Kanye produced album over Timbaland or Demolition Crew, any day!

Thanks for asking, tasteinmen.
I'll leave the 19/24 track Rebel Heart album as Madonna's intended vision/s.

Nothing Lasts Forever
Beautiful Scars (demo)
Heaven

Soz for double posting elsewhere here!
The 4th track is a variation of 'Montok Point' from his Strange Cargo 3 album.
-
Oops, sorry!
-
^^ I was just thinking along similar lines!
Is that Wendy Melvoin singing on the early demo of 'Candy Perfume Girl'?
Track 4 sounds like 'Montok Point', not a ROL demo.

Recently posted by William on Soundcloud. Thank goodness Madonna threw out the lyrics on the very early version of what most likely became 'Swim' (track 2)

Ditto! After a cunts day at work I fast paced it to JB with 10 minutes to spare and all they had was the 19 track edition. Like WTF?
No vinyl, no standard edition, no super deluxe edition, no advertisements, just the 19 track cd shoved under M/Madonna section. Even Kylie's latest piece of shit got ten times more lovin'.
When is the super deluxe or vinyl out in Oz?
Guy O, Interscope and JB, you have done it again!
Yeah, I was disappointed that JB only had the Deluxe and it was not prominently displayed. Inter scope really suck with her promotion.

Still early for me, though a rollicking good listen.
Ray of Light
Confessions On A Dancefloor
Madonna
Music
American Life
Rebel Heart
Bedtime Stories
Erotica
Like A Prayer
True Blue

I got mine at the Brisbane airport.

That's me sticking the sword in her palm...for not including credits and a big thank you!
-
^^ Thanks, Rebelvvv.

Australia/NZ and some people's European pre-orders arrived early in the mail.
I bought my CD today in Australia.
-
The Deluxe Version of Rebel Heart was the only version of the CD on the shelves in my local JB HiFi store today. And not even displayed prominently.
An aside: has anyone else noticed the copyright on the release is 2014? What gives? It's a 2015 release!!

Maybe there isn't enough room anywhere for the multitudes of people that contributed to songwriting, pre-production and final production!

Thank you to Dub and Svperstar and all the others on this thread for their generosity!

I think MDNA has still left a sour taste in his mouth.
Meanwhile, the royalties are still rolling in....
(Don't get me wrong, I'm a stellar Orbut fan, but I can still call him out!)
