'Queen' is a really cool track.... 'Autotune Baby' is pretty good when you hear where it's going. Queen is much better.

New: Devil Pray, L4L, Ghosttown - most obsessed with those
Older: Give it 2 Me

I've always loved Madonna voice. She's had some moments better than others of course, but when she is good, she is great!
Great article!!

Wow, "Heaven" is quite dramatic... very cool.
It's insane how these leaks just keep coming.
Her creativity this era is through the roof!!!
-
That's pretty cool of Drake... not a fan, but I will have to check that track out.
And it's so weird that I am becoming more and more obsessed with the track 'Illuminati' by the day. It really is such a cool track!

She hasn't shown the world edgy in terms of singles in a very long time.
Her last truly controversial single was American Life. She needs something forward thinking and different sounding, some thing she has never done before with a controversial theme.
I love Ghosttown but it's not even the best ballad on the album. Joan of Arc might be better out of the 9 we have now. It's a nice song but she should release one of the Bitch songs next. Not a safe slow ballad people aren't going to care about
Yes, cause the song 'American Life' was so well received... lol.
Anyway, I guess we'll see what happens!!! :-)

I don't think we need "edgy" from Madonna for the next single.... she's shown the world edgy more than enough for a long time now, lol. I think the world needs to hear something beautiful and soft from her, this is why "Ghosttown" is a good choice to release IMO (soft imagery in the video too please).
I don't care if it is a smash (though i can see radio playing it more than her dance tracks). I believe it is high time for Madonna to release a song like this, and also to showcase to those that might not know that there are indeed songs like this on the album. People who hear L4L might think it is a dance album and it is far from that.
It's also the song that has impressed many of my friends who have grown tired of Madonna in the past few years.

Y'all are crazy if you think the demo is better than the final... I always thought the demo needed improving - something needed to be done to it, and they finished it perfectly. But enough about those comparisons - save it for the demo spoiler thread.
You really have to put yourself in the mindset of hearing the tracks for the first time when listening to the final versions... and I am happy to see the reaction and love to this glorious little song (not just here either - I am seeing it from a bunch of places).
It is beyond gorgeous, and one of her best of all time. With tracks like this on it, this album might be landing in my top five albums of hers when all is said and done. :-)

I wasn't feeling it yesterday. I was bitterly, bitterly disappointed. Today I love it!
The only thing I would argue is that it has no beats. The chorus needs to be a stomper.
Well the chorus does have beats, but it is intentionally more mid-tempo hip-hoppy, which is in line with where she is going on many parts of the album.

This song passed the test when I played it for my BF (and he doesn't like that much of Madonna). It has amazing production!!!
Also, I REALLY like Chance's part. I didn't know much from him before, but I like that he sing-talks his part, instead of hardcore raps it.
Yes, the tune is hot.

1. Devil pray - freaking amazing, especially that breakdown
2. Ghosttown - freaking amazing, needs to be next single
3. Hold Tight - genius
4. Living for love
5. Joan of arc
6. Iconic
7. Bitch i'm Madonna
8. Illuminati
9. Unapologetic bitch

I definitely love his versions of "Addicted", "Beautiful Scars" , "Borrowed Time", "Revolution" and "WAOM". I'll be keeping those demos forever.
I like the new version of RH better, but it is definitely a beautiful little track no matter what.
But all around, yes, he definitely impressed me more than I thought he would.

I know!! It is absolutely INSANE how much good music, imagery, video, photography, etc. one person can pump out. And this era is giving us some of the best she has ever done IMO - 33 years into her career. Astonishing!!!
-
What in the heck is going on with the album covers... I want the rope cover but I want the Deluxe edition or super or whatever i can get with as many tracks as possible when i buy the CD... oh the madness of it all... lol
-
I'm not surprised she is getting called worsed dressed in many outlets for her red carpet number... she obviously wanted maximum attention and is definitely getting it over a boring dress..... though I wish she had picked a dress that still had a lot of buzz-worthiness, IMO.
I loved the performance outfit though, especially when she took the cape off to show it. Iconic!
-
conclusion:
this was her best Grammy performance so far.
1. Living for Love
2. Hung Up
3. Music
4. Nothing Really Matters
5. Cane
Yeah, I would agree with this ranking too... last night was definitely her best, with 'Hung Up' number two.

The performance is still lingering with me.... it was perfection!!!
-
I love playing Madonna music whenever I have some dranks, haha.
I especially love playing her videos when friends are over and it's usually 'Erotica' and moments from that album. Also, 'Waiting' and I have a sexy video of this song with footage from the 'Sex' book.
And of course lately it would be 'Living For Love' and 'Devil Pray' :-)
-
This performance ruled my freaking brain!!! It was perfection!!!
-
Yeah the mix of L4L is still playing in my head!!
-
@QueenKhia: Madonna gave me life and she gave the world another international hit at 65 Yasssssssssssssssssssssssss Ain't Giving Up #LoveLocs I Lives
KHIA APPROVES!!!!
YAS, LOVE KWEEN KHIA!!
-
OMG SHE SLAYED IT.... AND I love the slight mix on L4L as the song went on!!!
-
I can't deal! The video is consuming me! So I made one too.
