See your viewpoint, but I just came across so much negative news about him running from the major mainstream and liberal organizations. Thought that it would have had a bigger impact on the public not voting for him.

Let's see what happens tonight and hopefully he won't reach 270.

The media went too far in painting him as the devil that it backfired. People tuned out. I'm stunned at how well he's doing. Stunned.

I seriously, truly believe polls are fabricated by the media to make things as interesting as possible.Or, if they're not actively fabricating numbers, they're asking questions that are more like "who's doing a better job" or "who do you think is going to win" vs. "who are you going to vote for," which would've been the same number more or less throughout the entire election with small variables as the truly undecided make their final decision.

Just look how everyone started reporting the FBI investigation and made it into something. Are we to believe that millions of people are all of a sudden not going to vote for Clinton because of a few headlines about basically the same thing that's been said about her for years now?

And like I always say, there have been several moments throughout this whole mess where Trump was ahead of Clinton. Again, do millions of people wake up one day and just say "YOU KNOW WHAT, I WAS A CLINTON SUPPORTER YESTERDAY BUT TODAY I FEEL KIND OF TRUMPY."

And lastly, how do polls calculate who's actually going to go out to vote? That's a huge factor in all of this. Voter turnout. If they just ask 1,000 people who they're going to vote for, how in the world is that indicative of who's actually going to vote?

I don't know, I'm just sick of these polls. They mean nothing.

They are making lots of money from a tight race. Romney vs. Obama was tight according to polls... until it wasn't. You hit the nail on the head.

    Thanks

I find it amazing how my country is being torn apart by its attempt to meet the demands for cocaine, Meth, heroin, etc. in the U.S. and Europe, yet I doubt I've ever heard any of my European friends talk about. They're so far removed from the problem that in their worlds and minds it just doesn't exist.

But aren't we supposed to think that drugs are cool and that we all are free to do whatever we want??? Meanwhile, a drug epidemic is devastating certain parts of America. Drug producers and dealers are criminals but fighting only the "offer" and not the "demand" isn't going to stop this tragedy.

  4. London City Airport was evacuated on Friday after a number of passengers reported feeling unwell, police said.

Reports of a chemical incident sent three fire engines and "a range of specialist appliances" to the scene, the London Fire Brigade said in a statement.
Officials said the cause of the incident is unknown.
"The airport has been evacuated as precaution," London's Metropolitan Police said.
The city's ambulance service said it was treating 26 patients at the scene for difficulty breathing. Two patients were taken to the hospital, the service said.

Shit is spiraling out of control People magazine writer comes forward with her own story of when Trump sexually assaulted her.

Problem is... why have all these people waited until now? The GP will look at this and think it's opportunistic whether it is true or not. The media in America is going nuts on him and I fear that it may backfire because it just fuels his claim that this whole process is rigged.

Yep, supporting your candidate when your job is to report the news will only give strength to your opponents argument.

Honestly guys, I do not know how can anyone (who knows anything about the real Hillary) who stands up for anti-war, freedom, equality and anti-corruption really support her. It is obviously evident that it's a total media blackout concerning Hillary's dark past.

Are you all aware of what you are supporting? Do you know her past? Don't turn a blind eye.

I'll gladly refresh your memory, I can even write an essay for her unforgivable crimes.

There are three other candidates running. People forget that.

And I can tell you had it been Obama on the tape saying he likes to grab women by their pussy she would NOT have been as gracious saying that "God could still be using him."  She would be condemning him to hell.

That's what gets me about this whole thing is the blatant double standard, and their extreme suffering from cognitive dissonance and total and complete unawareness of it.

Media only care now it's heading to America. When it was in the Caribbean I never saw it on the news. Even though it's the worst hurricane to hit land on record. Now it's all over. RIP all the victims, hope it causes less destruction in the states. It seems to be weakening

Media in America has been covering since before it hit Haiti. Don't know about the rest of the world tho.

To be fair, Ulizos, the media and Trump tell us daily that President Obama's failure to act firmly in Syria to remove Assad is the reason Syria and ISIS are where they are today. While that narrative is obviously flawed and inaccurate, it is regurgitated daily - which certainly colors public opinion on the topic.

What is the reason Syria and ISIS are where they are today? Wasn't the premature American withdrawal from Iraq largely to blame? Who was responsible for that? Oh, but Bush shouldn't have gone there to begin with... yeah, of course, Bush is just as guilty, if not more so. Bottom line is both Presidents faltered. And it may be too late to anything now.

This person made an appropriate comparison in my opinion:

"Does a surgeon simply walk out of a room when they've accidentally cut a major vein to the heart and say "its somebody else's problem now?" Obviously not. Should the United States have left an incredibly fragile democracy with a weak leader, ethnic tensions and unstable political environment? Obviously not. We started this mess and we need to finish it. The United States has to take responsibility. If we do not we all know what's down the line- Chaos begets chaos and a land where religious fundamentalism rules such as Afghanistan in pre-9/11 days can only beget more chaos. If we do nothing we risk another 9/11."

Here's a little more about this:

FRONTLINE investigates the miscalculations and mistakes behind the brutal rise of ISIS. Correspondent Martin Smith (Truth, War & Consequences; Beyond Baghdad; Private Warriors, Gangs of Iraq) reports from Iraq on how the country began coming undone after the American withdrawal and what it means for the U.S. to be fighting there again.

You are right : they are not angels, but Syria and ISIS are complex issues that involve conflicts between USA/Russia, Iran/Saudi Arabia, Sarkozy/Gaddafi, Turkey/Kurdish rebels, and also the void left in Iraq by Bush and many other factors. It's not as simple as "Obama and Hillary created terrorism"...

      anigif_optimized-23404-1422561430-1.gif

Sorry to interrupt but the void was Obama's fault. The Repubs were more than happy to have a billion troops there. Bush is to blame for going there to begin with. #creditwhereitsdue

    • The guy in black is cute!

      Horrible thing though :/

I'm all for lighting up the mood when things get heavy but this comment says more about you than about the situation. I'll leave it at that.

I can't fathom what could drive someone to do that. The total absence of compassion, of humanity...

I do believe in a final judgement and these demons will have their reward.

      I have no more words.
