  1. Madonna has worked with a looot of people in this new album but not all of them will be producers so there's no reason to think this won't be a cohesive album.

Natalia Kills, MoZella, Viking Harem and Toby Gad may be only song writing.

S1, Avicii and Diplo may be songwriting AND producing.

So far I'm pretty excited with all the collaborators, most of them seem more creative and experimental than Martin Solveig, Benny Benassi or Timbaland.

  2. I agree that single choices were pretty bad in the last 2 eras, for me the albums would've done better if the singles had been:

    Hard Candy:

    1. Give It 2 Me. 4 Minutes shouldn't be a single, I still don't understand the lyrics and Madge vocals are pretty bad in that song.

    2. Candy Shop

    3. Miles Away or Devil

    MDNA

    1. I'm Addicted

    2. Love Spent

    3. Gang Bang or I'm A Sinner

    4. Girl Gone Wild. Let's face it, this one is fun even with those awkward lyrics.

If Madonna chooses a really catchy and innovative song as the lead single and she opens up an award ceremony the single will surely reach the top 10.

  3. I don't know what to think. A part of me wants to be reaaally excited and another part says "calm down, it's probably a demo" I mean, she just has posted pics with Natalia and the Mozilla team, but those pictures could have been taken months ago but Madge waited to post them, everyhting is possible... :nervous:

God! and I was just thinking "my savings account is finally recovering after watching Madonna on 2012 and Depeche Mode last year"

  4. welcome!!! and how can anyone bitching about Depeches????

    Thank you!

I know, people like to complain about everything.

I liked what I've heard from Mozella and some of the Toby Gad songs are pretty good pop as well. I'm not sure about Symbolic One collaboration though, a hip hop producer feels out of place between the other collaborators. Or, it could be that Mozella, Gad and S1 were just in the same studio and Madonna just went to say hello to them.

  5. To be honest I do hear a significant change in Madonna's way of singing. For me her best voice was between ROL and AL, Since the Confessions era her voice started to change and became more nasal, and that became more prominent in Hard Candy and MDNA. I know she's still able to sing very well as she proved it in Miles Away, Falling Free or I'm A Sinner but for some reason she doesn't sing like that as often as she used to.

I'm not saying that Madge sounds bad in the last 2 albums but she could sound better, if you compare the William Orbit tracks in MDNA with the rest of the album you will notiuce that her best vocals are actually better in the Orbit songs (except for Some Girls). Maybe Madge needs a producer that pushes her to do her best vocally.

This may have been said, but her voice has not been the same since she fell off the horse. Cracked ribs are not good for deep breaths. She changed her technique and has never changed it back. I'm not a vocal expert but it comes from the throat and head now, not from the belly. It was getting better and better before that in my opinion. RIT being a brilliant vocal performance imo.

I've never thought that the horse accident could have casued the change but you're right, it was since Confession era that her voice started to change.

  6. Even though I'm new to this forum I'm already used to all the bitching, I've been a long time member of Depeche Mode official forum and every time they release an album people start wars over the most simple things, so these discussions are kinda normal to me. Back on topic, I hope she writes something with Joe Henry again, his songs are always good: Don't Tell Me, Devil Wouldn't Recognize You, Jump, Falling Free.

  7. What Gaga though? Maybe you could argue some of the stuff sounded like early Gaga like The Fame, but certainly nothing like Artpop. Everyone's down on Gaga now but Gaga actually did good music when she first started however unpopular an opinion that may be on here.

That's what I think. Natalia sounds a little like early Gaga but The Fame is actually a good album. I don't think Madge will sound anything like Gaga though, she will put her own style in Natalia Kills songs.

  8. Hi everyone! This is my first post and I have to say this is the nicest Madonna forum I've found.

The new album news are getting really interesting, I've never heard about Natalia Kills before but sure she has a good style. And Martin Kierszenbaum sounds about good, let's be honest, Lady Gaga's first album is good (maybe the only one) I just hope he makes something different with Madge, we don't want little monsters all over the social networks saying M sounds like Gaga.
