I'm completely confounded how anyone can pick LAP for WORST singles! Two of her most iconic songs are the first two singles from LAP!

AL is one of my favorite M albums, and I agree it's her best from the 00's. It's probably the album I listen to the most out of all her albums. There are three songs on it that I really don't care for at all, M & F, I'm so Stupid and Hollywood (though the R&R versions of Hollywood I do like, as well as all the other remixes on R&R). However, the rest of the album I could listen to on repeat ad infinitum.
Oh, and I loooove AL (the song), it's one of the highlights of the album, especially the rap!!

rb19, that was perfectly stated. I love all the live versions of Like a Virgin. The MDNA tour version is amazing, and a brilliant reinvention of the meaning.

Her voice has a beautiful expressiveness that draws you into the song. Two of my favorite vocals are SNL Bad Girl and Girlie Show Everybody (especially the beginning part with Everybody is a Star). But there are many standout moments on all the tours.and other live performances, this clip has a few of them:

I was thinking a variation on M13, replace the number one with letter i, to make it Mi3. Sort of like James Bond Mi5. It's totally random, but so are the hints on this album so far, so it might fit right in.

Gus, I agree with you. Its very bizarre that Madonna keeps getting underestimated all the time. After the longevity she's had its very strange, and also tiring and tedious.
Also agree with Madryan, esp about Taylor Swift. Can't believe people are still interested in her. Her whole career is one song sung 15 different ways, all of them annoying. Don't get it.

Since the new album is tied to or inspired by Art For Freedom, isn't it possible that the first announcement or first release would be on the first anniversary of the Art For Freedom release? That would make the timeframe September 22-24 I believe?

Ditto, What It Feels Like For a Girl. There have been many days when various lyrics from the song popped into my head to perfectly describe the situation or feeling I had at the time.

I love the Paradise Not For Me performance from Confessions Tour better than the album version. I wish it was on the CT cd. The extra guitar on it really made it just perfect.

I'll always be a fan of the music, even if every future release is horrible (which I know it won't be), there is so much amazing music in the catalog to appreciate for a lifetime. She will also always be a role model to me, especially for how to work hard and go for what you want, even in the face of adversity.

It's one of my favorites from AL, along with American Life, Nobody Knows Me and Nothing Fails. I really like the version on Remixed and Revisited also.
