According to sine supposed insiders in The Madonna Infinity forum, the deluxe would have 3 bonus tracks. Seems they were wrong.
Thanks! I guess we're getting 6 bonus instead, even better!! That's means I'll have to buy the cd now
-
Same, I just listened to the first batch and a couple of the second, but stopped listening a while ago. There's only 3 songs from the first batch that didn't make the album.
Wonder what the 3 bonus tracks will be!
How can you tell 3 bonus tracks?

I'm so happy WAOM made it onto the track list!!! Now I'm going to hunt down the demos that didn't make it without any guilt!!

Madonna is a British citizen so they can't say she's not British. Kylie always is whoring herself at the Brits
I'm pretty sure she's always been a US citizen, unless she has dual citizenship with UK.

Honestly, Diplo's response is odd. Is he suggesting the "non-album version" (whatever that is) is "weak"? And "strong" strikes me as a word you use to describe something you like, but don't love. Maybe we're just misinterpreting what he's referring to.
Maybe 'strong' is a term used in the context of album mastering, since he was responding to a comment about re-mastering?

Madonna feat Katy Perry ?

So more collabs on the way?? I guess M still has a few surprises up her sleeve for the full album release!

Thanks for posting, this was interesting... Most of her companies seem to have been started either mid-80s or 1992, except for the touring company - that was started in 1998. I wonder what Debutante Inc is all about? The others are straight forward to guess. Also, weird that all the companies are based in California when she lives in NY...

horrible cover of vogue. Rihanna spits all over one of the greatest songs from the nineties.
Quite honestly, it's one of the greatest songs ever, not just nineties

As far as I remember, some people on some US shows did call for a refund just because some parts of the show were missing + the late beginning...
For the Olympia show, it was more violent because there were only fans in here, and because of all the anticipation LN had build up around the specific show, especially with Guy Oseary teasing fans all day outside...
They didn't expect M to come back on stage of course, and I agree that the way they did it was WRONG, but in the end they expressed theirselves to say NO. WE'RE NOT HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU DID, WE FEEL DECEIVED... that what mattered. They couldn't just go home saying OK !
And you won't even admit M & LN did fuck up the thing ? you don't care ? That's fine with me, LN can deceive you everytime then.
Really that something I don't want to see repeating, the deception and the response.
Yeah, so why didn't the Olympia crowd do the same, contact Live Nation after and ask for a refund, instead of acting like a bunch of asses for the whole world to see? Don't they know how to behave decently? Is the only message they've gotten from Madonna to 'express yourself'? What about the message about treating others with kindness and consideration? Why conveniently ignore that message? It's one thing to have a grievance, it's a totally other thing to behave in the manner that these people did. No excuse for it.

Great work on an amazing remix, and congrats on the recognition!!

Yes, especially considering her roots lie in dance, it would be great to see her really tearing up the screen & stage with some killer moves . I've always wanted her to do a big 60s styled Bob Fosse number.
That would be so awesome! I love the BA Keep It Together for the classic Fosse jazz dance choreography
-
I find bull fighting disgusting and cruel but I think she will use that scenario in more symbolic way. Very hyped about the video AND Grammys!!
Yeah I hope it's more a symbolic bull fight. Something with choreography like the Pink Try video but with bull fighting choreography, and the bull represented by one of her dancers wearing a headdress to symbolize the bull / minotaur. Maybe similar to the gargoyle ones the dancers wore in the intro section of MDNA tour

God I love this look so much! It's the epitome of cool

4 more explicit tracks is awesome news.
I'm starting to wonder if the track listing for the album is is in order based upon the order that we would have gotten individually for Rebel and Heart. It seems the Heart songs go in order and the Bitch songs are in order, but just put together.
Heart
Living For Love
Devil Pray
Ghosttown
Rebel
UnapologeticBitch
Illuminati
Bitch, I'm Madonna
We got the first three songs of both discs in December possibly.
If Messiah is #7 then maybe we will get 3 more Heart songs in a row, and then 3 more Rebel hence the 3 explicit songs in row. Just an idea.
I think DP and UB could fit in either category. I hope M at some point tells how each side was supposed to be divided up, since it seems we'll be getting everything mixed together.

Played on the beach while I danced my ass off near the waves!
So great for you that you're in the right climate to fully enjoy this song!!
-
I actually have stopped listening to it because I don't want the magic of it to wear off too quickly. I want to hear it with fresh ears in the context of the album.
Yup me too.. I only listen to the demo version now if I miss hearing it..

I find it absolutely repulsive if true M fans acted that entitled. If it was indeed fans that behaved that way, then GOOD RIDDANCE that she lost them. Hopefully they will keep their promise and NOT attend the next tour. What spoiled brats.......and don't give me this "they paid full price....." Blah blah blah. They paid full price for an intimate show with the Queen most of us will never have the privilege experiencing. Furthermore, how is it that I in the US, not attending the show knew that this was going to be more along the lines of her previous Roseland, Olympia and Brixton gigs in length but the people attending were completely oblivious to this??? I mean REALLY!?
I agree. It doesn't matter how disappointed you may be, there is no excuse for that type of revolting behavior and name-calling, particularly from 'fans'. If you don't like it, then let Live Nation know about it after and ask for a refund if you feel that strongly, but behaving in that manner just shows a complete lack of class.
So then the people with the signs, why did they bring them if not for political reasons?
-
Absolutely agree. Whenever I fail at something, I take solace in M's songs of perseverance and get the encouragement to get up and try again. I also love her quotes regarding "rich people's problems" and her acknowledgement of how lucky she is, which fits with the non-victim attitude. In the general scheme of things, I fit in the same category of being extremely lucky compared to the vast majority of people in this world, so whenever I'm about to start feeling sorry for myself for any setback or thing that didn't go my way, I remind myself of these quotes to regain some perspective.

Proof of Madonna’s talent & skill as a songwriter/producer is to look at the output of some of her most notable collaborators: Patrick Leonard, Shep Pettibone, William Orbit, Mirwais & Stuart Price. None of them has produced anything of significance apart from their work with Madonna. I mean, really, why is that? They’ve worked both on their own and with other artists but where is their Like A Prayer or Live to Tell or Vogue or Frozen or Music or Hung Up? What classics have they produced without her? After 30 years, the critics, the general public and unfortunately some of her fans still tend to minimize Madonna’s contribution. I guess she will never really get the true recognition she deserves in her lifetime. Funny that being the most successful & iconic pop artist of all time, she's also the most underrated.
So so true. It's ridiculous how underrated her contributions are, especially by some 'fans'

Billboard reveals that Michael Keaton son, Sean Douglas, worked on Ghosttown, one of the songs featured on Madonnas upcoming Rebel Heart studio album. The songwriter says that the song, which was released along with five other Madonna tracks following a demo leak last month, was written in three days after Madonna personally requested some studio time.
He adds:
Madonna liked Talk Dirty, actually, and so they put me and [co-writers] Jason Evigan and Evan Bogart in with her and we had this great session. I was incredibly nervous for obvious reasons, but she showed up, was super personable and was ready to work. I basically checked it off my life bucket list.
Douglas is actually a successful pop songwriter, with credits on Top 40 hits like Jason Derulos Talk Dirty, Demi Lovatos Heart Attack and Fifth Harmonys Sledgehammer, among many others. And he spent part of last summer in Ibiza with David Guetta, living in the producers house and working on tracks for his recent album, Listen.
I wonder if Mr Keaton got to hear a preview of the album from his son and is why he was using M phrases like 'unapologetic' and 'human nature' in his golden globe speech?

I'm pretty sure one of her homes was on Oriole Way in Los Angeles. Christopher used to refer to one of her homes as the 'Oriole Way home' in his book.
Yes, that's it! I wish I could remember where I read it... I think it was some old interview I'd come across, but don't remember where or when it was from

Meltdown starts in 3 2 1....

Woohooo!!!

Does anybody else kinda hear "House of the Raising Sun" within this song? I keep being reminded of it. I could imagine M doing singing a verse of it during the tour - would be awesome!
I didn't know that song beforehand. I checked it out after several people mentioned this same thing, and I don't really hear it..
so many layers to this song... its amongst her greatest songs ever. does anyone else get and American life album vibe from devil pray?
Def among her greatest ever! and very much in the AL vibe
-
Would love this actually.
Absolutely. Just for the first 1-2 performances, to surprise people and also to highlight the music quality. After that, it would be great to have more theatrical performances. There should be enough opportunities to showcase the songs in both ways: Grammys, Jimmy Fallon, SNL, Letterman, plus the European shows...
