    Oh wow, GTown was beyond amazing...my favorite live performance for a long time...if only the bigger audience of Grammy or brit awards got to see this it would reset ..they know she can do choreography. LFL just gets better every time too.

    Exactly!!! People want to hear her sing, lol that's what most people go to a concert for including me, and live music would be a major plus! That was the only thing I wish was different about the GT performance, I couldn't really hear the band, it sounded like a music track to me. I hope for upcoming performances and on the tour its just the band without a music track.

    I was talking to a delightful 13-year old girl today and she asked me what kind of music I listen to. I said,well, Madonna. Her eyes light up, "I love her too!! She's amazing." I told her I went to M's last tour and she was so jealous lol.

    Well, here's some good news. There's a very positive review in this week's People magazine. I believe it's 3 1/2 out of 4 stars. It says it's her best record in a decade. I don't know if it's online but I saw it while waiting in line at the supermarket. I guess People isn't taken seriously but they've always given her very positive reviews.

    NME is a indie rock magazine. They clearly have no understanding or appreciation of pop music. They really shouldn't review pop records and just stick to the area of expertise.

    That's good! I'm glad the more popular publications like USA Today and People like it and reviewed it well. So far this does sound to me like a more pop, more accessible album, maybe that;s why the elitist mags didn't review it better.

    I wish there was a way to critique or review the reviewers! If, as they say, history is written by the winners, then these idiots will unfairly influence how people in the future will view M's legacy. They are already trying to minimize her influence on the folktronica sound. At least I'm glad she's doing a lot of performances on tv, so people can listen and decide for themselves what they think of the new music.

    So, which songs has she actually used as closers so far:

    Virgin Tour: Material Girl (new song)

    Who's That Girl Tour: Holiday (oldie)

    Blond Ambition Tour: Keep It Together (new song)

    The Girlie Show: Everybody (oldie)

    Drowned World Tour: Music (new song)

    Re-Invention Tour: Holiday (oldie)

    Confessions Tour: Hung Up (new song)

    Sticky & Sweet Tour: Give It 2 Me (new song)

    MDNA Tour: Celebration (semi-oldie = released during the 2009 leg of S&S, but never performed before)

    Based on her previous tours, it's quite obvious that the show will be closed by an uptempo song.

    Will it be an oldie or a newbie? Well... until S&S, M had a pattern of closing every second tour with an oldie, although the Re-Invention Tour was originally rehearsed with "Die Another Day" as its finale. I think she'll go with a new song as the finale of the show, probably an extended version of "Living for Love".

    Thanks for compiling this in one place. Based on recent history, it does seem like it will an uptempo new song. From the 9 so far, I think LFL or Hold Tight would fit the bill.

    Its times like this I'm glad I live in NYC. Subways never stops, bars open til 4AM, take your time M!

    Nooooo!! I don't want to be around another pissy crowd! And she's losing concert fans by doing this. A lot of people after the Yankee Stadium concert and also online on Ticketmaster saying they would never go to another concert of hers again. Unlike radio play, this is something completely under her control, she shouldn't do that! Bad for business if nothing else.

    1am is good because people can have a drink after the show and catch the first morning train back after the gig :rotfl:

    Seriously though I have a feeling she'll be on time for this tour. It looks to me this time around (with the album and tour promo) that they've learnt a lot of lessons from MDNA, hence the return to traditional album promo, TV perfs and with the tour she's returning to arenas (after a lot of negative feedback about sound in stadiums and, er, "other outdoor performing spaces") so I think the starting time will also be taken on board (she was even asked about it by Ellen at the time.)

    I reckon she'll be on stage at 9:00 - 9:30p.m. most of the time.

    On MDNA I hated that everyone around me was so pissed because of the late start. It kills the crowd buzz before and during the concert. I think barneyboy is right, it was probably due to the rising/falling floor death trap stage. Hopefully nothing so potentially dangerous this time around. 8:30-9pm start would be great to keep everyone in the audience happy.
