This is the song I truly am aching for a video for.   I think it is the best song Madonna has recorded in years - considering how much I adore her music,  that is a huge huge compliment.   Packs an emotional punch that only Madonna can do.  Such a sad, beautiful song with incredible vocals, lyrics and melody.  Has reached me more than any song released by anybody for years.

I so agree. This song just gives me goosebumps. Such a beautiful melody and she sounds amazing. I will be heart broken if she doesn't sing this on tour as it is one of my most favourite Madonna songs ever.

  2. just Seen the vid. I don’t have enough words to describe it. So well done, emotional, shocking, beautiful, thought invoking.. I could go on. Yes, she does look stunning, the dark hair really brings out her gorgeous eyes. I don’t think it’s her looks that she wants us to be interested in though, it’s the message of the song/video and oh boy has she got that across so well.

She will get the haters hating, but no change there.let them get on with it as I’m not listening. I just admire the sheer guts of this woman who is brave enough to put this out there. She will stand up for what she believes in and takes risks and that is why I love her so much.

I doubt very much if the Kylies, Taylor’s or Katy’s of this world would ever put out a vid like this.

    Amazing.

  3. It’s taken me a while to really get used to this song. At the beginning I wasn’t sure..did I like it or not? I listened some more, and more and now I think it’s an incredible moment on the album. The choir sound fantastic, please let her bring a choir on her tour. It knocks this song into the stratosphere. The beat, the lyrics, the whole thing is massive! The only thing I don’t like is the way she starts singing it like her teeth are cemented together. Obviously that’s how she wanted it to sound but to me it’s a bit odd. Great piece of music though.

  4. This song is why I have loved Madonna for so long. Her ability to pull a track like this up from her soul and just blow me away. It’s so sublime in its perfection. I just love it so much. On first listen I got goosebumps, that is always an indication that this will be one of my special forever songs. I pray she will sing this on tour but as it’s supposed to be a bonus track (what??) maybe she won’t.

    Such a beautiful masterpiece of a song. I’m melting...🥰

  5. The media will go bonkers over this but I think that’s what she wants. Spark debate, get people talking.

She is brave, she stands up for what she believes in and whatever she does she will get a backlash for, but this is exactly why I love her.

It will be interesting what Piers ‘the plank’ Morgan says about this video as he is totally opposed to guns.

    Bring it on Madonna.

Piers Morgan has been tweeting saying she was vain, obnoxious, rude and looked ridiculous. That man is an actual bully; all a bit rich coming from him.

Piers 'Puke' Morgan is obsessed with her. Everything she does, everywhere she goes, everything she wears  - you can guarantee that he will have something hateful to say.

it must be exhausting hating on someone so much. Such a sad sad man.🙄

  7. If she sat there and said nothing, someone would moan. If she wore a frumpy dress someone would moan. If she hugged, Air kissed everyone and licked their backsides someone would moan.

lets face it, whatever she does the moaners would come out. She can’t win.

i loved her humour. She’s quick witted and sharp and yes maybe a bit nervous, but she held her own and on that sofa there was only one person and that was Madonna. She lit the studio like a spotlight. A little woman with a huge presence. I wish I was the guy in the audience she focused on. Actually, no I don’t. I’d do something stupid and faint or wet myself!!!

I don't understand why she was a late addition though. On any big promo round she always does Graham Norton or Jonathan Ross. The rest of the campaign has been meticulously planned for months - seems so odd that they would overlook this and have to shoehorn her in at the last minute. Unless she just didn't want to do a full show.

I enjoyed it too but after years of wondering what she would be like next to other guests, I've realised I prefer it when she has the show to herself!

It’s just very odd that the tv listing mags did not include her on the show and they are printed about 10 days prior to publication. I may be wrong, but love or hate her she is still a huge star and if I had her on my show I’d shout it from the rooftops. It has been only over the last few days that I’ve seen her appearance being promoted. The special guest star was Ian Mckellan as mentioned last week.

Oh well, guess we will never know.

she was funny, she looked beautiful even if her boobs were up round her ears, and I’m glad I watched it.

  9. Twitter is banned in this house. I enjoyed the interview.

It would have been better just being devoted to her alone but it was nice to see her with other guests. I think this interview may have been a late decision. Get her in the programme even though the guest slots are all filled. Graham would have made space for her no matter what. She wasn’t mentioned in the Radio Times as being on the show. Normally all guests are listed. They had Ian mckellan as the top billing star.
