  1. Almost perfection (with the exception of Im So Stupid  , otherwise near perfection)

Yup. Near perfection, but I must admit I do enjoy I'm so stupid now and then. My favorite M album, and the one that made me go from fan to stan. Looove it, and AL the song is still a staple in my gym playlist!

  2. The morons here saying "Good Article" lol There is nothing good about the article other than they keep bother writing an article.

I think it was a good article. Madonna is indeed breaking paradigms with what she is doing. She is even breaking them just for her physique and her amazing stamina. And her better-than-ever voice as the writer points out. Sure, it is bothersome sometimes, it challenges my perspectives of, not only people her age, but of her as I came to admire her (a ROLster here). But this is her essence, what Madonna is and represents. She is not a fun, sexy pop singer, she is a cultural game changer.

  3. Living for love, no question obviously! The video is great, on so many levels. The subtle effects, the color, the feminist subtext and the whole Madonna against critics/ageism... The video fits in perfectly with her on going discourse about not stopping and going for it (Give it 2 me, Beat goes on, Jump, ...). Looove it! Masterpiece!

  4. I noticed that as well. If she's paying for it, who gives a fuck what the record label thinks?! Something ain't right with that.

Yeah, good pointing out Pud. But anways, I want to think M has a bit more freedom in terms of what music to do/produce. Though I remember she was going to work with the Pet Shop Boys for what became HC and someone (Guy? WBR?) insisted on Timbo. Who knows! But even though Avicci's RH sounds as Coldplays's A sky full of stars and, therefore, as a potential hit, I am happy with the singles so far, their sound is much more interesting.

  5. The video is gonna be quite an event and the song features a young hot artist who just had a very successful era on radio with her last album and still at the moment has multiple hits in the top20 of pop and rhythmic radio. She is as hot as she's ever been basically.

I can't believe they will not do anything to traditionally push the song on radios? Like wtf?

They seem to be trying many different things with every single project. LFL had top 40 radio push and the app video release. GT a push on AC and the app as well, both with great videos but LFL had a more classic M feel while GT had all the Jonas production. And now with BIM the remixes seem to be a big deal, as well as the Diplo/minaj colab and the cameos from all the stars. She's kept this era quite interesting in terms of promo, it is fun to see where it all leads to, hopefully M gets a shot with this song.

  6. OMG so excited. And yes I love how she did it: old school at first and featurings for third single. Maybe it didn't work but we surely have enjoyed it more!!!!

Yup, I agree. LFL is a masterpiece and fits perfecly among her best classics IMO. Ghosttown is lush and gorgeous, and BIM, though it has taken me a while to adjust to it being a single, it reminds me a bit of Impressive Instant (killer music/beats and funny, a bit cringe-y lyrics). I'm excited for this second part of the RH promo, hopefully she will release another single.

  7. I like the cover. M's single covers have always been rather forgetable, tbh. I mean, let's remember 4 minutes, nothing fails, miles away... This one at least looks joyful, as the song.

And about the remixes, the last time I played the remixes non-stop was Confessions. Maybe the expectations were too high for this one, and thst is why everyone feels disappointed.

  8. I love the diversity of this era. First the break up song with artsy/dance video, then the post-apocalyptic romantic theme, and now the bitchy mood! Wow. What a roller coaster :drama:

I'm not a huge fan of BIM but I'm really looking forward to this video!!

I sorta feel the same. I am/was totally against the idea of BIM as single, but I do like the track and I am looking forward to the video.

  9. Well, water has always been a frequent theme in his music, going way back.

Yeah I should have known, since I like Orbit's solo pre-Madonna stuff. I just had this romantic idea that the both came up with the water theme together during recording sessions. They probably did, though, but more out of M's desire to replicate his sound with her pop skills, and not as a back and forth exploration of different sounds.
