  1. Give it 2 me...

Now, you need to understand, the song was a hit here in Mexico. It got tons of airplay, you could hear it everywhere in clubs/stores/etc. But what reaaally made me hate it was the fact that my then-roommate use to play it to death, to the point that the song just makes me puke now.

Erotica --> Secret Garden, Waiting, Rain

Bedtime Stories ---> Bedtime Story, Secret, Take a bow

Ray of light --> Drowned World, Frozen, Mer girl

Music --> Impressive instant, Music, Gone

American Life --> Intervention, Nobody Knows me, Easy ride

Confessions --> Future Lovers, Isaac, Like it or not

Hard Candy --> Candy Shop, Devil..., 4 minutes

  3. Joe Henry on producing a Madonna album: "Don’t think we haven’t talked about it. When she’s ready to make that shift, it’s easily done. I think it’s just a matter of her getting to the point creatively where she is completely at peace with swimming in different water. I believe we’ll get there. And I’ll be terribly excited about it when it happens." http://ultimatemadonna-xavier69.blogspot.mx/2010/07/jey-henry-ms-brother-in-law-on-madonna.html

I want that album before she retires. That's all I ask for.

  4. Yep! I remember the shit hitting the fan with a lot of younger fans, but I assumed it was because of the whole "bandwagon" thing.

Don't get me wrong, I do love some 80's Madonna, I've just always been more into what she's doing currently. If I want to listen to something older its typically Erotica or Bedtime Stories,

and I learned a long time ago that she isn't going to settle on a "sound" and stick with it.

I think it caused quite a stir among young fans because of the musical place Madonna was in when we, the younger ones, became fans. The holy trinity (a.k.a. ROL/Music/AL) it's a very interesting and different path in Madonna's music career, and then some of the stuff she did afterwards with Confessions, Hard Candy and then MDNA came as a shock. For older fans, this was nothing, because Madonna changes constantly, but as a younger fan I can tell you it took me quite a while to digest the albums post-AL.
