Agreed! This and the fact that the world in general heard the song for the first time through her version is what made it a hit.

Guy Oseary should have let people know, via twitter, that the show was going to be a shorter version of the MDNA tour. I completely understand that the problem during Olympia was miscommunication to the audience attending.
On the other hand, I think this kind of shows might be a good move for her. Maybe do less stadiums and a bit more smaller venues in between the big shows, but this time letting people know that small packages cost more because there´s something special prepared (i.e. Beautiful Killer/DAD, Je t'aime... ).
Also, the whole "starting shows late" thing, it is definitely hurting her reputation IMHO. If she is tired she should just take bigger breaks in between tour legs.

I remember her saying DAD was definitely part of the then upcoming AL album, but she sort of also let the interviewer know that the 1st single was going to be AL the song.

Black and White, and something in the vein of the album cover: revisiting the HN video sequence with the ropes, but now with close ups to faces... Something like that.

People who see a difference in using a picture of Mandela, Khalo or any other have some really fucked up issues in their heads. Why is humanity so hypersensitive now? It's like everyone is just waiting for a match to light and start a huge fire.

I don't know, but after 14 or more years of leaks from lots of artists, I do not feel exited anymore for them. Hearing the 6 released songs in the way they were intended to exist with no previous preconception was glorious, and I hadn't felt that amazingness in quite a while.

Devil Prays proves to me something that I have always thought. People may laugh but Madonna would make an amazing country singer as well. She puts so much empathy and feeling in the way she sings and would amaze country and western fans with her crystal clear and emotive voice. She really is an exceptional singer and does not need to shout or screech. Who else can sing pop, dance, ballads etc - so many genres - with such ease and class. Forget the divas with the huge vocal ranges - they might have bigger voices but can never match her as a singer.
+1 I am still waiting for her Joni Mitchell-esque album she is going to produce with Joe Henry before retiring (you better Madonna!!).

The greatness of this track just hit me today. I liked it from the get go, but it took a while for it to grow, and now I just adore it! Killer grower, very different from those epic (4 minutes, LAP), club anthem (Music, Hung Up) first singles, IMO is more in the vein of Secret, with many layers in it, as others have pointed out. Love it!

Nope. There is always "that one track" that annoys the fuck out of me. Sometimes two LOL. The closest ones to perfection are AL (not into I'm so stupid), LAP (can't stand Love Song) and Confessions (Push sucks).

I was finishing my final essay of the semester. Still had to polish it a bit, but decided to check pitchfork site and saw the news. I was so excited that I quickly came up with a lame ass conclusion for my essay, sent it, and quickly went to Spotify to give a first listen, then downloaded off itunes.

She has a history of singles that never were: Skin, Love Spent, Impressive Instant... So sad this isn't a single, but glad she made such a wonderful song!

I think this way of doing things is the best thing to do, honestly. Shows how shes not really into pursuing that #1 anymore. People will have enough time to get into the songs, and the energy during live concerts when everyone knows the lyrics is amazing. Who knows, maybe some of these songs make their way into the BB Hot 100? Is billboard on its usual holiday break yet?

I am too, but also a bit scared, because this Gee guy works in Hip Hop (Lil Wayne, Minaj). So do we get more rent-a-rappers in M's records? Hope not.

Live Earth! Her voice was perfect and the LIB mash up with Pala Tute and Gogol on stage with her was fantastic.

The 4 weeks she spent at #1 of the BB charts with Music. Here she was, supposedly past her prime, and had the most weird song with addictive and slick beats at the top of it all. Amazing!!

About Airoso, I would way that any song containing that little Wonderland clip is bound to be awesome. Hopefully he leaks it someday.

I think ROL is the only album that, to me, doesn't need to be changed ir a song talen out. AL, as much as I love it, has I'm so stupid which I seldom listen to; COAD has Push and Jump and Music has Runaway Lover. The rest need to be reshuffled or converted to an EP
