  1. Ugh why are so many "journalists" writing so much crap about Madonna and her career? Yeah she does have lightweight pop songs for sure but SO MANY of her songs aren't. We're talking about Madonna here, not some pop tart.

It's ridiculous how underrated she is despite all her success.

I know, right! What is the deal lately with people writing crap and not focusing on the amazing music she just released?

I would say her first album is definitely not lightweight pop, but LAV and TB are, then from LAP up until AL her songs are anything but lightweight pop. COAD to MDNA are a mixed bag, but she decided to release a lot of lightweight pop as singles.

  2. Future Lovers

    Secret Garden

    Die Another Day

    Secret

    Intervention

    I Want You

    Skin

    Ray of Light

    Nobody Knows Me

    Isaac

    Music

    Get Together

    Cyberraga

    Hollywood

    Drowned World (Substitute for love)

    Bedtime Story

    I Deserve it

    Swim

    Love Profusion

    Sorry

    Nothing Fails

    Gone

    Forbidden Love (05)

Living For Love (... had to include it! I adore this track, it definitely belongs here (if not, then it is Frozen´s place)).

  3. No particular order (meaning I will never listen to them, ever):

    Words

    Thief of Hearts

    Runaway Lover

    Give Me All Your Lovin'

    Girl Gone Wild

    Heartbeat

    Incredible

... I guess that´s it. There are a bunch of silly 80s songs I am not particularly fond of, but I wouldn´t skip them if they show up on my playlist. These, on the other hand, are atrocious. I am certain Autotune Baby will make this list eventually.

  4. Who cares about radio. The song is amazing, and I am so glad that the recent trend of having guests in the first single is over. She delivered an amazing song, and performed it flawlessly at the Grammys. Some of her best tracks in recent years have either not charted (Get Together, Love Profusion) or have not even been released (Love Spent, DWRY), so it really does not matter anymore if radio picks the song up or not. It was fun watching the AI go up, though, it took me back to the early 00s with Music and DTM and how I used to check radio stats constantly, ha!

  5. I can see her releasing music every once in a while after this contract ends. But I don´t think it will continue to be her main goal/activity. As for touring, she´s probably going to stop at some point, unless she goes on more downscaled, sit-and-sing kind of shows, and I do not see Madonna going that route, TBH.

  6. I became a fan with ROL, so maybe I´m not that old of a fan (though it always amazes me that 18 years have passed!). Madonna was having a second renaissance of sorts, I guess. I didn´t know it back then, because I just happened to like what she was producing, but looking back on it she was everywhere, especially during the Music era. I was finising high school and you could hear her at clubs/parties you name it, she was ruling it all.

  7. I gree ith her, but I also think that the use of a word just for the sake of it is meaningless, which is one of my problems with Unapologetic Bitch. In BIM, for example, she´s calling someone a bitch, and the tone´s meant to be a bit agressive and a very "who the fuck fo you think you are" kind of stance. But in UB, I just feel like the word´s not needed. I still prefer UB to BIM though.

  8. Not really. Not even interested. I know I like an image, an icon. I like Madonna, the one I see on videos and at concerts, the artist. I´d rather don´t burst my bubble and keep her in the conceptual realm, so to speak. I´m sure she´s a nice person (and a bitch too, aren´t we all?), but I am not interested in Madonna the human being, but Madonna the pop star (... that sounds rude, but it makes sense, right?).

  9. Are any of the 4-6 tracks rumored for the super deluxe editions ballads? I believe Queen is. I think I have heard that Addicted and Beautiful Scars are fast. What about Borrowed Time, Autotune Baby, and Graffiti Heart?

Borrowed Time is along the lines of Hold Tight I would say. Not entirely a ballad, but not an uptempo song either. It is one of my favorites from the album. Autotune Baby is just weird, LOL. Graffiti Heart is probably the poppiest, most 80s-inspired song on the album. Almost bubblegum-y, it reminds me of some MDNA tracks (GMAYL, Superstar).
