I wish that one was true! I remember everybody going nuts at that rumor thinking it was real when you’d ask Siri who is Unapologetic Bitch and she’s show you Madonna. Now Siri just scolds you saying “I hope you don’t kiss your mother with that mouth!”

I made that rumor up lol.  I just wanted to see if I could get a supposed inside rumor to take flight.  I guess it worked. It was Bitch I’m Madonna featuring a sample from Motownphilly and Siri.  🙂

Madonna's live revenues are not "declining".  She just doesn't do as many shows as she has been focussed on her children.  Still a huge act... maybe the biggest... Madonna is doing just fine on the road.

408 million to 305 million to 170 million.  I guess we have different definitions of declining revenues.

Never said she she wasn’t doing fine just that revenues were declining.

    A non-Vegas residency!!! :rotfl:

    Who is this person??????

I wouldn’t mind her doing a residency tour either, like Björk did.  Maybe in like 8-12 cities worldwide.  She needs to build demand back up as her live revenues have been declining.  This is a way to do that, but the show would have to be spectacular.  Then she could do a large scale tour for the next album.

  4. Everyone Guy reps has seen their star power tank.  U2 has gone downhill since Guy.  Alicia Keys, Amy Schumer, and alas, Madonna.  I doubt she will hire a new manager though.

I think she can turn the tides if she does a high caliber tv performance.  Not what she's been turning out lately.  She needs to do something at the level of GGW MDNA.  No one in the GP knows she's still capable of things like that.

  5. Lots of things go into the mix and your not causing uproar your giving a perspective.

Had Rebel Heart of been received better, and living for love become the hit it should of been, I think it would of all been different.

Madonnas not going to lower the price of her tickets, and without commercial clout that's going to meen fewer dates and lower attendance.

Im not often a grammar nazi, but please learn the difference between the words "have" and "of".
  6. They were not all top notch. There were so many instances of slow mo for no good reason. She's doing a little leg movment - let's put it in slow mo! I cringe at the beginning of Get Together where they merge her face with the background. It looks so cheesy. And they ruined Hung Up, especially the climax breakdown in the middle with the constant fades. Hung Up looked a million times better as filmed at the EMAs and Live Earth.

  7. I say this as a Madonna loon, but I think Rebel Heart is missing something. I don't think it's one of her best albums. It's like all the songs are kind of 7/10 of the way towards being great, but never bridge the gap. I'm glad others are enjoying it so much, and I do have some songs I love from the album, like Unapologetic Bitch, Inside Out, Iconic, Ghosttown and Living for Love, but I think the leaks and Avicii's rehab stint messed up the album's direction a bit.

  8. I was just watching an HD video of Burning Up in Minnesota, and noticed Hebrew writing on the back of her guitar strap. Well, I am somewhat able to read Hebrew, and realized that it reads "Esther" in Hebrew letters on the back of the strap. Little easter egg for those in the know :)

  9. Yea I feel like billboard screwed Madonna over in every possible way that wouldn't include flat out changing of numbers. I mean there's no way they can fudge her top 10s.

The list that has True Blue at 179 has The Fame at number 12. Like in what world was The Fame more scucessful than True Blue? Utterly manipulated. I'm sure when gagas team paid for nice words for Gaga they also included a bonus for denigrating Madonna.

  10. I like the compilation and barely notice the little editing things people mention.

One thing I've never seen addressed regarding this album is the track Sorry. It sounds different to the version on Confessions. There's less oomph. I don't know how to explain it. I really do not like this track on Celebration and listened to the Confessions version right after to see if I was hallucinating, and I'm not. They sound different, and the Confessions version is MUCH better.

Aside from that, the two new tracks on this album are dismally bad. Two of the worst tracks of Madonna's career. I don't know what she was thinking working with Oakenfold. For a greatest hits album, two STELLAR new tracks are needed, just like on the Immaculate Collection, and like the Immaculate Colleciton, they should have given some idea as to her next direction. The new tracks seemed aimless and dated.
