She went overboard (for me) with the Kabbalah and spiritual ideology during this time, but she still looked fantastic and artistically it was amazing.
What makes M interesting is she's far from perfect and how chameleon like she seemed for a number of years. Agree she had a few cringe moments during this time period, but she also had a number of them too within the past several years.

Love it! I think it has a great flow, not entirely chronological but not completely random! I don't miss the ballads as it would have been way too slow, the only changes I would have made are replacing What It Feels Like For A Girl with American Pie since the former was not a proper hit and the album version wasn't even used in the video and maybe the Don't Cry For Me Argentina remix to have even less slow moments but that's all.
The original tracklist sucked, putting all the faster songs in the first half and make the second half into Something To Remember part two...
^Does any fans know if this was the original track list before it was allegedly change?

All these stories are bringing up memories that I've forgotten about! Use to work in a retail store in my early twenties. My manager HATED Madonna with a passion. My other co-worker use to go on and on about how M was a "slut", "bitch" "ugly", etc. Mind you both women were pretty raunchy and even promiscuous.
Did not bother me much at the time because it seemed that they were jealous of M or something about her persona triggered so much animosity and anger out of nowhere.

how was DCFMA not a hit? It was a worldwide top 10 hit?
Guess it was a big hit in parts of Europe, but not in states at all. Don't know about Canada and South America though.

It's annoying to hear people you know harshly criticize Madonna! I come from a family with lady caca fans, so they sometimes compare those two and talk of caca like she's something original and super talented.

I can not WAIT to see how sad and depressed the inbred racists of this country are going to become when Trump finally implodes whether its during the primary season and he loses the nomination or whether its during the general election.
Ted Cruz is coming up fast behind him, but he in many ways is just as crazy.
My very religious cousin works in NY for the republican party! I even saw personal pics of him with both scary Cruz and Santorum.
He's been talking a lot lately about how many conservatives are freaking about Trump splitting up their base, and their insiders have been questioning if he's a trojan horse for Clinton and the democrats! You can't make this stuff up!

Am I the only one who finds Donald Trump amusing and isn't really worried about him actually becoming president?
Was just having this conversation with family yesterday. Do believe like many others that Trump poses a threat to US and world security if he becomes president because he's very impulsive and his judgment is off. He can also be a stupid dick! At the same time, he makes me laugh and love how at times he makes both the far left and republican establishment go ape shit!
Have personally been very critical of conservative muslim ideology, but Trump's ban on all muslims was totally unnecessary and extremely polarizing. He's not going to win the general election anyway, and there might be a historical split in the republican party if he becomes the party's nominee.

God, one year...
I still didn't overcome the assassination of WAOM but all the happiness this era brings makes it ok.
WAOM album version is one my favorites off RH, but the Avicii version love even more.
Wish it would have been officially released!

Hopefully, it's somehow not as bad as the media is reporting. Conflict like this can be very draining for any parent, especially in the middle of tour and few days before xmas!
