I think they responded after the Olympia show only after they saw all the buzzing from fans and the media.

Pedrohdi she was not in a bad mood during the show.
Watch the video of Holiday and the speech and you'll see she was funny and very appreciative.
She said she was sad to see the tour end.
She scolded the fans during soundcheck because smoking fucks up her voice, and she was not well to begin with. Madonna has always been honest and never afraid to speak her mind.
when i'm sick I can kill someone if they smoke next to me.

Some people don't understand the dangers of slippery stage especially if you are not some rocker that just stands there and sing.
How can she do Revolver Like a Virgin or Hung up in such conditions?
She sang full Holiday from what I saw and Spanish Lesson.
My beloved Amy Winehouse (maybe not the perfect example) always cut the shows short even at her peak.
Radiohead and Morrissey did it in in some shows I attended.

Sorry but it's a creeping thought!
I always freak out when someone I love feel ill for more than a week because I had bad ecperince with something I thought was flu and turned out to be serious ilness.

My job is not to defend Madonna but I love her dearly so if she is sick and can't do a full show then I respect it...she wouldnt just cut a show short if it wasnt something really serious, her real fans know this. It was either a shorter show or no show remember that.

OMG it was really bad out there.
The stage was flooded. No wonder M barely moved. She could seriously hurt herself.
There was no way in hell she could do LAV. I understand why the first section was cut under those conditions.
Sad but i think it was either that or cancellation
