Viagogo is a reseller. They have tickets for pretty much every artist or show in many countries. There will always be "scalpers," whether they are partners or not.

Pantallas are screens.

Is this her most extensive tour of Mexico? I know she's extremely popular there, but she's doing two shows in Mexico City and for the first time Guadalajara & Monterrey. According to Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MDNA_Tour
I'm not seeing it, it only has one show listed at Foro Sol in Mexico City?
Wiki has Peru & Venezuela. I wonder how accurate that is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MDNA_TourI'm only seeing Peru in the first paragraph? Where is Venezuela?

I don't know how they can incorporate the first sold out show with whatever they had sold for the 2nd show into one show unless they changed the stage configuration and can use more of the stadium than they were initially planning. It seems that at first they were planning on having a hovering stage so the seating was planned so that people "could be closer." It's hard to explain what I'm talking without visuals
There's a video of the original layout from an Israeli press agency that was posted on this site somewhere.Edit: Found some visuals

Original layout on the left & previously announced newer layout on the right
What if they did something like this instead, for example?

Or would it even matter?
I'm not even sure how that would work out in that particular stadium. -
Before dates were announced for S America, there was a rumor she was going to Peru. I don't remember what other countries were mentioned (aside from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Colombia). I wonder if they're planning on going there? How does their economy compare to Colombia's?
I don't get why they're not going to add a 2nd date in Colombia if it's selling so well.

Bravo Colombia

-
Probably fake.
Don't like it.

I thought they had said that she would arrive in Israel 2 weeks prior to the start of the tour? It would kind of be a lost cause to perform GGW by that point instead of the third single (TUTR?) if this happens. I think it's unlikely to happen though.
-
She needs to GTFO if she's even thinking of including that LG song. That would completely distract from her/her music and bring her unnecessary backlash. I don't even like the idea of putting SNM in Express Yourself. It would just make her look bad. Why stoop to that?
-
I just found this one which is coherent with a lot of rumors and seems realistic and detailed:
1. Act of Contrition
2. Girl Gone Wild (contains elements of Material Girl)
3. Revolver
4. Gang Bang
5. Papa Don't Preach (New Edit)
6. Video Interlude (contains elements of Gang Bang and Bang Bang by Nancy Sinatra)
7. Hung Up (Martin Solveig Remix)
8. I Don't Give a... (Rock Version with alternative ending)
9. Best Friend (contains elements of Heartbeat)
10. Express Yourself (contains elements of She's not me)
11. Give Me All Your Luvin' (contains elements of the Just Blaze Remix)
12. Turn up the Radio
13. Open Your Heart (contains elements of Sagarra Jo by Kalakan)
14. Masterpiece (Kid Capri Remix)
15. Video Interlude (contains elements of Nobody Knows Me)
16. Justify My Love (William Orbit Remix)
17. Some Girls
18. Deeper and Deeper (contains elements of I'm a Sinner)
19. Secret
20. Love Spent (Acoustic Version)
21. Interlude (contains elements of Celebration, Holiday, Girl Gone Wild and Satisfaction by Benny Benassi)
22. Nothing Really Matters (New Edit)
23. Music (contains elements of Party Rock Anthem and I'm Sexy and I Know it by LMFAO)
24. Gambler (Rock Version)
25. Everybody (contains elements of Hello by Martin Solveig feat. Dragonette)
26. I'm Addicted
27. Celebration (Benny Benassi Remix)
This could totally work
Except I would get rid of the WTF-moment aka as "Best Friend"/"Heartbeat." Kind of odd to include a bonus song from a deluxe edition of an album not many people have.
"Masterpiece" seems randomly thrown in too. I hope the interlude videos and backdrops aren't stupid like Rain on the SST and rather interesting like the "Paradise (Not For Me)" from the DWT.

She MUST do "I'm Addicted"!!! And I'm not sure if the drama that will come from her mixing "She's Not Me" with "Express Yourself" would be worth it. Things like that only backfire because LG is a media-darling right now.

Excuse me, but in Colombia we had Pit Tickets. They were sold out in 15 minutes. Around 500 USD.
Pit-inside the triangle that's in the stage?? Or the equivalent of "Golden Circle" in Europe? I have not heard of any pit tickets selling prior to that, maybe it's something different for S American shows?
-
You can't buy pit tickets. There seem to be several pit tickets contests going on (?) and Guy has been giving away pit tickets on Twitter, plus at the Truth or Dare thing (and remember the Ticketmaster contests in the US where 25 (?) people will be getting 2 tickets for each venue). I think there will be more of that as time goes on.
-
Yes, they do. Most of the things sold will be similar worldwide, but some (a few?) might be different or exclusive to each venue (usually like T-shirts with the venue/country's name). Some things are only available online.
-
hmm, but about 2.7 million per show? it's far off from sticky and sweet tour's 4.8 million. would that thing rise so much more by the time the tour starts?
It's likely because the numbers are coming from a majority of US arenas, but when the numbers from Mexico, S America, & Oz are counted, that average will likely go up because of all the stadiums. Also, as the tour sells out more, I think the average should go up.
-
During the Confessions era, Angela was the main manager. She used to be Caresse's assistant. She left in early 2007 and Guy Oseary took over.
-
They will probably have fan contests for all the pit tickets at each venue.

My coworker today received a call from her boyfriend and then she started screaming OMG MADONNA IS COMING. We all got super excited and now our entire area of 15 people is going
EVERYONE talked very highly of her and people I would've never imagined said things like, she's not really my type of music but she's an icon and I have to go. Ugh, I felt so proud and I'm so stoked!
Even though Foro Sol is awful, I'm still excited and It's on

Has Madonna only ever played Mexico City? I don't remember if she's ever played Guadalajara or other places in Mexico.
-
Correct me if I am wrong, but don't the promoters set the ticket prices? I thought they basically signed a contract with Madonna guaranteeing her a certain amount (like $5 million per stadium show or 90% of ticket sales - whichever is greater). So in order for the promoter to turn a profit, they gouge on the ticket price. Am I wrong?
No, I think you are right. That's why the Moscow prices were far more outrageous than the St Petersburg prices even though they were both in Russia (different promoters). I think Tribe said that Guy O put pressure on the promoter to lower the prices in Moscow after fans complained to him. I just think the prices are way too high for those countries and whomever is setting the prices is nuts, but I hope she sells out. She really doesn't need anymore bad press or half empty stadiums.
-
still no info about prices for mexico... bout i hope they are the same than last time...
How much were they last time?
-
The tickets in Santiago de Chile are between: USD 57 (the lowest) to USD 625 (the most expensive)
In Colombia between 68 USD and 400 USD.
Are they fucking kidding me? It's like they don't want to sell out. $400 and $625? Are these VIP packages or regular top priced tickets? Even the lowest prices are too high, higher than some US and Euro tickets.

This is a repeat of the overpriced Israeli and Moscow shows. The prices are way too much for the places she's playing in. This makes me even more nervous about her not selling out, especially whatever multiple planned nights they might have. I don't even want to know what they're planning for Oz.

How do these prices compare to S&ST 2008 prices?
What are the prices in Mexico and Brazil?

This is the earlier interview from a few years ago she did with this guy
http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-500185_162-662223.html?tag=contentMain;contentBody
It says 2009 in that article, but there is no way it was.
It has to be around 2005? I hope she doesn't bully him & I hope he asks some interesting questions. I like the interview she gave about performing on stage, but it was too short. -
You can buy 4 tickets a week max (regardless of the amount of shows) with the Lifetime Legacy pre-sale code. Each Live Pass code only lasts one week (the week you purchase it... the week ends on Thursdays).

No mention of Marchesa here
I don't know where Madonnarama got that from? Did Arianne mention it?New quote by M from WWD:
As for the show’s couture, “I worship and adore [Jean Paul Gaultier]. He’s creating one of my costumes, and kind of godfathering the costumes for a section of my show, with all my dancers. I’m really happy he’s doing it, because he’s such a genius. And I’ll probably wear something that Riccardo [Tisci] from Givenchy makes. But the rest of it is going to be what my costume designer Arianne Phillips creates with me.”

Only one set will be by JPG.

I think he meant a Part 2 after the initial planned run is over. The tour is supposed to end in Oz in early 2013 and that part has already been announced. If there is something after that (Asia, US again, etc), then that will likely be decided at a later time. This is the longest M has ever toured with so few breaks in between. For S&ST she toured about 4-4.5 months, then had several months off before touring for another 2 months. I can see them doing something for the summer (June-August) of 2013 at least as a Part 2 for MDNA.

Tour Stage set-up

I don't think there might be anything behind those screens.
I think there might only be one version, maybe they'll add things on the sides for stadiums at most.
I'm kind of disappointed. The stage & everything looks so plain & I don't think "the real deal" will be much different or at all different.
The only good thing is that for arenas, the triangle extends far out into the floor.
