  1. Sad she will have to pay LG for practically ripping off her song. She can probably avoid it by removing the BTW part during the show that's going to be scheduled for taping for the DVD. For the Conan thing, since BTW will likely be included, I guess they will have to give her a share of what they make to broadcast that or how does that work?

Weren't there reports that she cheated with a married bodyguard of Madonna's or something? Who knows. Maybe it was because of MATM.

I heard this too, that a Rabbi influenced Madonna to fire her, but I also heard that Caresse was addicted to drugs and that Madonna asked her to go to rehab which she supposedly offered to pay for, but Caresse didn't want to. Also, it was said that apparently Caresse took money during that latter part of her time with M. After she was fired, Madonna kept in touch and sent her a letter or letters.

  2. I don't think they let in reporters. The camera crew from the day prior shot from outside of the stadium via the screens as the fence was visible. The new footage today looks far away, like it was a worker shooting inside the stadium & perhaps selling it to the media.

Some people are saying they are deleting the footage because of the contract they have with Conan for the exclusive.

  3. or she could just scrap the whole thing and do this:

ENJOY THE SHOW (WHEN YOU SEE IT) and stop critiquing it.

 The question was in regard to casual fans, not stans. I know every song on the set list. I have liked most of what I've seen & heard so far (save for what I already mentioned). I will likely enjoy & be slayed by this show. Will casual fans? I'm not sure one way or the other. As Nightshade mentioned, this show could end up being divisive like the DWT was (I loved that show, along w RIT & CT). If she added another hit or two at the end (it seems to end in some sort of "party," a la SST/GI2M), that would only help leave concertgoers in some sort of state of euphoria/nostalgia. That might sit well with casual fans (& some critics) since they'll feel they know more than just 1 song (LAP) in the last section. That might help leave a good last impression. As for myself, I'm looking forward to I'm Addicted, regardless if I'm one of only 10 people who know the song at the show (& even though she looks like she's wearing a glittery robe with socks on her arms & hideous rubber pants during that song).

  4. I wonder if this show will appeal to casual fans. I mean apart from Vogue, Like a Prayer, Express Yourself and a short Papa Don't Preach everything else is either not a well known song or done in a way that's not very familiar.

I was thinking about this too. The opening section seems like something that the stans would enjoy, but might leave the casuals a bit puzzled. Of the 2 "big" songs in that section, 1 is destroyed w a vocoder & the other is very short. Besides burning the vocoder, I think that if she had at least added a song or two at the end-maybe a medley of Music/Holiday, she'd go out w a bang & the more casual fans would have that, rather than thinking they only knew 1 song in the last section. Instead, she's ending on a song that isn't that well known (neither was GI2M, although I think that song works better as a closer than Celebration).

As a side note, I really don't like the outfits in the last section. Why is she dressed in a knight outfit from the thrift store? Too tacky. The letters in the back just make it worse. Sometimes Arianne really misses the mark. I'm not feeling the hair throughout the show either, although I could live with the poof in the first section because it kind of goes w the '60s/Faster, Pussy Cat! Kill! Kill! kind of vibe.

  5. It's still pretty much the same, judging from the ticket vendor's site. I haven't called them again yet though. I just tried and you can still get tickets for ALL categories including Golden Circle - even larger amounts. But as I'd previously said, I try to remain positive and optimistic.

I simply fail to understand why it's so hard to put up some posters in the city and run some TV and radio ads so that people might be aware there IS a Madonna concert :dazed:

You can buy tickets really easily online via the OEticket.com site. Let me know if you need help.

With the interactive seating map feature, it seems like some sections are sold out (some of the cheap ones & some of the VIP ones), but there are some others that say what seems like 99 of 99 available :scared: I don't know why the promoter isn't pushing sales at the very least with a little bit a promo & if not, by reducing prices. :|
