Can i just say this album will age magnificently you can just sense that.
I took a week break from it and listened to it again it’s such a great piece of work. Bravo Madonna!
Completely agree with this, it really is a masterpiece

I know this sounds absolutely ridiculous, especially because it was my least favorite when the album first came out, but right now I cannot get enough of Bitch I’m Loca it’s just such a fun highlight!!
But I honestly find myself saying “this is my favorite” to almost every song, so I know that this album is already something very very special in her flawless discography!

I love how she front loaded this album with the experimental tracks, from Medellín through Killers Who are Partying is a wild ride of innovation and bold sounds with an unmistakable Madonna stamp.
Crave and Crazy are like a release of sorts, solid gold pop gems. Come Alive can sort of be grouped with those two, but the final section sort of brings it to a mystical level and is somewhat experimental, leading into the haunting sounds of Extreme Occident, a stand out moment of the album lyrically and vocally.
Then we enter the solid bop territory of Faz Gostoso and Bitch I’m Loca which gets you moving before the holy trinity of classic Madonna sounds on display in the dazzling I Don’t Search I Find, the cinematic Looking for Mercy, and the epic and frantic I Rise.
Like Erotica, Ray of Light, American Life, and Confessions, you feel like you went on a journey.
The greatest artist who ever lived!
I love this write up so much! I couldn’t be more proud to be a Madonna fan right now. I love that she’s not easy, that it really takes time and thought to understand her art and where she’s coming from. We will never have anyone like her again. Thank god we are on this ride with her right now, I can’t wait to see what else she has in store for us!

I am still loving this album so much, I’m starting to catch new sounds and textures in the production on further listens. This album is truly something special. Madonna really fucking brought it this time - not that she doesn’t normally bring it, but this one just has that “X” factor, that “magic” something.

Maybe we could get Aldo Diaz to design the card for us?
(joking )

I wish we could get a big card, signed by all the fans here, and present it to M, thanking her for this amazing album.
Oh my god I love that idea signed!

I love this song! It has that classic 80s Madonna vibe / attitude about it

This song is so great

Too bad we have no Get Together type Disco perfection songs on MX....
Ohhhhh that is totally not true! But I know we all digest music differently. I hope there's something on here you enjoy!

Thank you. But Get Together is probably in my top 5 all time Madonna songs, so underrated. Stuart Price was a genious with that album, production wise
Why Madonna has NEVER tried a sequel of sorts to Confessions is a HUGE mystery to me ....
Get Together is my username AND favorite song for a reason! It is....perfection. And I just feel that we are sooo so lucky to be Madonna fans. She keeps going. She keeps looking forward. She keeps experimenting. She keeps BRINGING IT. Fuck, I am falling down another Madonna hole all over again. And I am loving every second of it!

I LOVE Get Together, that was a jam and Confessions was THE album
I think I'm gonna listen to it tonight
Madame X who?
You are absolutely entitled to your own opinion! And I love that! We all celebrate an incredible woman who inspires us all to live our Truth(s). But I do of course hope this album grows for you! It is SPECTACULAR! That's the beauty of Madonna - there's something for everyone!

I LOVE MADAME X

By the time "Batuka" is on, I was like, girl, she really DID HER OWN THING here
It totally felt as a **genuine album**, unlike RH which was more of a bunch of songs thrown together to be passed as one
I absolutely love and adore Rebel Heart, and I could never pit any album against the other, but it’s so true that this album has that “magic” ingredient. Fuck, we are SO LUCKY to be this goddess genius’ fan!

Holy. Fucking. MADONNA.
I just had my first, virgin listening experience. I honestly don't know how I did it, but I held out all day to go get the physical CD and bring it back home with a bottle of champagne. I put on my headphones, put my phone on 'do not disturb,' and Madame X took me on a wild ride while flipping through that epic art booklet!
It is absolutely her meditation on the state of the world, the state of her soul, and the state of the listener. I am absolutely blown away. I cried, I danced, and I fucking felt. THAT.
I may have re-twisted my ankle dancing, but shit, it was so worth it. This album is an absolute aural cinematic masterpiece. I cannot wait to do it all over again.... In fact, I think I will do it right now!
THANK YOU MADONNA!!!!!

I’m debating if I should listen Thursday at 11pm (I’m CST) when it’s available on Apple Music or when I get the physical album in my hands that morning. I’m thirsty and only Madame X can quench me!
I’m asking myself the same thing. I know it will be tough, but as of right now I’m going to hold out for the physical CD on Friday. I really want to have that old school-style first listen while flipping through the CD art booklet. Reading the forum reviews today has set my excitement level into overdrive.

Well, I INTENDED on waiting til Friday but the reviews here got the best of me.
I'm pretty much at a loss for words at this point for any sort of full review. All I can say to those that haven't listened yet is you're not ready for this. I feel like those fans that are especially in love with '92-'03 era Madonna will really appreciate this album. This is bold, fresh, new, exciting.....a very hungry and inspired Madonna.....I don't think anyone will be able to dispute that this time (that seemed to be a big argument past few albums). I really hate the term "return to form" because she's never really lost form for me BUT....she has those "special" moments and this is one of them. Despite being so diverse, this album manages to create one very distinctive atmosphere.....no album has been like that since COADF for me. Like it just takes you into it's own little separate world. I'm just absolutely stunned at the quality of work she has delivered this time.
Wow I’ve been reading all of the forum reviews today and reading yours just absolutely floored me. I am so unbelievably excited for Friday. Thank you for this

Wanting, needing, waiting...!!
I am so excited

I am frothing at the mouth reading everyone’s reviews and love for the album! I am (painfully) waiting for the official release on Friday for my first listen with a bottle of champagne, but please keep the reviews coming! Almost there

I can’t decide if I should do an edible before listening to it for the first time or hear it completely clear headed first
Clear headed first listen, then edible and glass of fill in the blank after that!
