  1. Isn't Israel a totally made up country by the Western world in the Palestine land in the first place? And why have they been building houses in the Palestinian side in recent years? Nothing against the Israeli public but unfortunately I hate the Israeli state.

I disagree with this.  Her voice sounds very natural to me on Crave, Extreme Occident, Looking For Mercy, and much of Crazy.  The effects on I Don’t Search I Find and I Rise are minimal. I hear her Evita/ROL voice on Killers Who Are Partying.

I respect your analyses, but do not agree with it.

Totally agree. I don't understand what people are talking about when they say the whole album is autotuned.

What a great album it is. It gets better and better. Some albums lose lacklustre so soon, but when I listen to Madame X I find new layers, new sounds, now backing vocals, maybe some meanings or feelings. I adore each and every song.

I feel so happy that I can enjoy this album.

I feel exactly the same. I'm loving the album and each song. It is so rich in sounds, layers and meanings!! It is one of her best and for me she doesn't have a bad album.

    1. God Control- To me this is her best video since Bad Girl....that's a strong statement to make considering BG is my fave M video ever. She REALLY knocked it out of the park with the GC vid! EVERYONE (in the US in particular) needs to see this video.

    2. Medellin- Another instant classic Madonna video. This one was easily her best since the original AL. Madonna + Maluma baby = 🔥. Just a feel good and beautifully made video. It's criminal this one didn't get ANY recognition for VMA noms (although not surprising). Another one that can sit with any of her best vids from the 90's and fit right in.

    3. Dark Ballet- I feel like a broken record but really, these first 3 vids in particular can truly sit with the best of the best. It's superficial of me but really, it would be #2 if she were in it more.....on the other hand, it's far more effective just the way it is. The msg of this video is as strong as LAP.

    4. Crave- Speaking of being superficial....lol.....Batuka really does deserve this spot as the message and scenery of that video are by far superior......BUT....Madonna is so gorgeous in this video, I just had to rank it high. Her hair, the jacket, it's like Virgin Tour Madonna/Susan stepped into 2019 and I have a major soft spot for '85 era Madonna. This video is wonderful in it's simplicity and it IS a beautiful video as well. Love the mail carrier pigeons.

    5. Batuka- truly a stunning video. You can feel her love for the Batuquideras here. Joyous and sad all at the same time.

    6. I Rise- a powerful "quickie" video. This one came out of nowhere so was a nice surprise. Something has gotta be ranked last though and up against the preceding five videos, it's no question this is the runt of the litter.

My list is same as yours! God control, Medellin, Dark Ballet, Crave, Batuka and I rise...

Well I'm not saying the forum is dead or anything, and obviously the thread title was meant to be semi-humorous, but I forgot that I do actually have access to the forum analytics, and sure enough, rather than activity increasing after the release, it peaked on release day then slowly but surely fell to around Jan '19 levels (now) So what that indicates, I'm not quite sure, but it is interesting.

I think it's because almost all promo was before the album release and hardly anything afterwards.

And we can talk about the album only so much i suppose.

We needed some more televised live performances after the release I think even if they didn't really change the sales figures.

I'm not so sure about this based on the past couple of tours. It's been more fun for MDNA and RHT because she switched so many things up over the duration of those tours + TOAC and all the headlines she'd generate pretty effortlessly. The tour may actually be the "peak" of the era! We'll see I suppose!

I hope so. I'd love her to keep us and the press busy with the tour.

  7. As others say, I love the album and listen to it everyday.

I was on MNation like a million times prior to the release and during the short promo with loads of rumours, new music, videos, interviews coming etc.

Now there is nothing for me other than her tour rehearsals which is on her IG account. I can discuss and read about the same stuff only so many times with the same threads about each track from the album.

Still visit the site regularly though.

I'm sure the forum will get busy again just before the tour and probably die down after a few days till the next era.

After Eurovision, I was sure that's it... But I loved it while it lasted. Just feel a little sad 'cause it's like the era just ended until the tour.

I can't believe it's kinda over. Felt so short. I would have liked a few more televised performances. Wish she had performed it GN and JF shows.

"Batuka" was the most intense moment of my first time-listening of Madame X. I was truly mesmerized by her artistic spunk, it made me realize that this is not a typical pop album but an innovative, brave record that was badly needed from her for a long time.

    Totally agree.
