  1. The performance was simply out of this world. :inlove:

Unfortunately the 2012 Super Bowl did not break any ratings records. However, Madonna's half time gig got higher ratings than the game...

Super Bowl 2012: Madonna Does A Higher Rating Than The Game

    by Matt Verderame

Madonna is apparently still quite popular. The past sensation out-rated the Super Bowl, as her halftime performance generated a 48.3 rating compared to a 47.8 for the game according to reports from John Ourand.

@florencia_1983 are you responsible for the leaks?.. she is only upset with whoever leaked the music.. we would love to know who that is..

    :lmao:

Now he's randomly asking fans if they leaked the thing in order to 'trick' us into thinking it wasn't intentional? This is too much. :rotfl:

  3. Sources have exclusively confirmed to MadonnaTribe that confirmed producers of the new album are William Orbit, Solveg and Benny Benassi adding that the sound of the record is definitely pop dance and that at this very moment Nine Tracks of the album are ready.

Further more, as already reported today by MadonnaTribe the first single has already been choosen. It reminds of a cheerleader song featuring two vocal guests: MIA and Nicki Minaj and will also be presented during the SuperBowl appearance.

Photographers Mert and Marcus have been chosen to shoot the new album cover.

The photoshoot is happening towards the end of the year but they have already done the campaign for her coming fragrance called Truth Or Dare (the Madonna fragrance MTribe reported a few years back is finally happening after so many delays!)

In more music news, Madonna is going to put in her WE movie a brand new ballad she has penned and that she performs, but we have been told that at this stage it has not yet been decided if it will also be put on the new record or will remain a WE exclusive.

In other news we have been told the cover of the Harper's Bazaar cover has just been shot by Tom Munro!

Sources have confirmed to MadonnaTribe.com that Madonna's performance at the Super Bowl is definitely a go and confirmed! but Tribe can bring you some more exclusive juicy bits on the performance!

At present time Madonna is set to perform five songs and among them the first single from the new album that has already been chosen and we've been told it's perfect for the event, as it reminds of a cheerleader song. The new single and the album as well will feature two vocal guests: MIA and Nicki Minaj.

Madonna is set to have three music guests on the SuperBowl stage, and supposedly two of them are the new single's guest singers mentioned above.

Super Bowl XLVI takes place in Indianapolis on February 5, 2012.

Some great times are coming for Madonna fans! just stick to MadonnaTribe.com, home of Madonna fans, for more exclusive reports on her new projects!

  5. Who's That Girl? Madonna at Super Bowl halftime

Contain your cone-shaped bras -- if you can.

Superstar Madonna could be hitting this season's Super Bowl halftime show in Indianapolis. The news hit the Internet this week, and the pick isn't too far-fetched. Madonna recently announced that she's working on new music, hopes to have a new single out by the winter and a new album out by next spring, and what better place than the Super Bowl stage to get you back on the charts?

"Who is bigger and better than Madonna? Madonna is a legend. Madonna is simply the biggest and the best who has ever done it," says Ronn Torossian, president and CEO of 5W Public Relations. "She's probably the biggest pop star in the world, and what's better than the world's biggest pop star performing on the world's biggest stage?"

The pick is far more edgy than any recent halftime acts. It's almost impossible to not talk about the 2004 Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake performance and ultimate wardrobe malfunction and the fallout in the years since. Most pop culture analysts say that choosing classic acts like The Who and even last year's PG-rated -- but contemporary -- hip-hop band The Black Eyed Peas seemed safe.

Madge in 2011 isn't exactly who she was in the thick of the 1980s. Sure, she's a widely influential middle-aged popstar, but she's toned it down.

"Madonna is now in her mid-50s, so I certainly hope she doesn't come out in her cone bra," says rock historian John Covach, author of "What's that Sound? An Introduction to Rock and Its History." "Madonna is somebody who crosses age generations and crosses sex barriers. She's just somebody who the whole world wants to see. She's really a living legend. Yes, of course, people are going to jump up and down to watch her. It's not just a performer. She is bigger than, perhaps, anybody alive."

Plus, let's face it: Madonna also might bring out a more diverse audience.

"People have joked online, maybe a larger gay audience will come," branding strategist Adam Hanft said. "There are broad segments of the audience that she appeals to."

And if there is a naughty incident (and 50-something or not, this is Madonna we're talking about), then … "people love to watch a train wreck too," Hanft said with a chuckle.

  6. Madonna to perform at Super Bowl halftime show?

Here's a spicy little football nugget for your Monday: Madonna will reportedly perform at halftime of Super Bowl XLVI at Lucas Oil Stadium.

That's according to our friend Andrew Sharp at SBNation, who dropped the bombshell about the material girl this morning. Perhaps more surprising than the fact that Madonna is performing is the fact that Madonna hasn't performed at the Super Bowl before.

Then again, there's been a move away from "risky" halftime acts ever since the, ahem, incident with Janet Jackson in 2004. For the past few years, in fact, the acts for halftime of the Super Bowl tended to lean more towards classic rock-type acts, like the Rolling Stones, The Who, Paul McCartney, Tom Petty, and Prince.

Last year, the Black Eyed Peas performed, but failed to bridge the gap between "corporate sponsors" and "younger people who watch the game" with a performance that was primarily panned.

Madonna, who's filed down her edginess since her days of causing parents to cringe at cassette purchases, might have a pretty good shot at doing that, given her widespread popularity and appeal to multiple generations of Super Bowl viewers. (Although, honestly, that wouldn't have been who I expected Jim Irsay to pick, given the nature of his tweets.)

The NFL declined to comment on Sharp's story, so there's no official confirmation yet, so for now we'll just remain ... borderline excited.
