There's nothing deluxe about a deluxe edition if it's considered to be the official/complete version of an album. It becomes only a marketing lingo. If the 19 tracks RH is the deluxe/official/complete album, then the "official" version becomes the Abridged Edition.

But a lot of people still consider MDNA as a 12-track album though, including me. The last three tracks Love Spent --> Masterpiece --> Masterpiece clearly serve as a grand finale for the record. Anything else is just icing on the not-so-delicious cake.
Well, you could change the way you think or keep complaining about a standard edition Madonna doesn't give two fucks about.

I doubt that the French sources know what they're talking about and I also doubt that the "standard" edition is anything else than simply a clean version of the album. I mean seriously...the title track just a bonus track? I find that quite hard to believe.
But standard versions are always considered the "official" presentation of an album. Critics and the public will perceive the standard as THE album. They are called bonus tracks for a reason. I personally prefer a 14 track album but I can't @ the title track getting thrown out.
No, Not for Madonna. During MDNA Guy Oseary always said the deluxe album was what they considered the MDNA album. Madonna doesn't care about the standard editions. And why should anyone tbh?

I just brought up the VICE interview in another thread and I went to watch it because for me that feels like the start of the Revolution of Love. Anyway, when talking about her role models, Madonna talks about Martha Graham and how she inspired her. I quote:
"[...] changed the world of dance by taking women out of pointy shoes and corsets and freeing the body. And she used a lot of Greek mythology in her work and her work was very sexual[...]"
That did ring a bell!
