..''Some American fans have been sceptical about the release of the star's third major compilation album, claiming that she hasn't had enough US top ten hits in recent years to justify another compilation.''
How about the fact she has to release a compilation due to her contract and who are the 'American fans' they is talking about?

Don't think this has been posted:
''Give it 2 '' me finishes at number 73 on end of year chart with sales of 149000 x

Great for James/ Nelly. Alexandra must be dropping sales quickly now although a million sales in three weeks is outstanding.
Well woolies gone now so no more physical sales at 20p! I Think if wolies never sold them cheaper then the goin rate of around £3.99, Alexndra would never have sold a million copies.
-
will this overtake 4 mins? their sales are both very close.
It has, sam's total is now with Black & Gold 436,866, 4 minutes is at about 430,000 x

Madonna may be playing at this year's Glastonbury Festival, reports have suggested.
The singer is said to be concerned about her profile in the UK after her split from British husband Guy Ritchie. Her latest single 'Miles Away' also bombed in the charts.
According to The Mirror, Madonna is now looking to line up some UK dates in an attempt to get the public back on her side.
It was announced last month that a newly-reunited Blur would perform at Glastonbury this summer.

Saturday, December 20 2008, 07:22 GMT
By Michael Thornton
Rex Features
Madonna's latest single has become her worst-performing release ever.
'Miles Away', from the singer's album Hard Candy, has entered the UK chart at number 39, making it the least successful in her 24-year career.
The song is said to address her relationship with Guy Ritchie, which one lyric claiming: "I guess we're at our best when we're miles away."
Madonna's previous UK chart low was in 1996, when 'Oh Father' made it to number 16. 'Borderline' peaked at 56 in 1984, but a 1986 re-release saw it reach number two.

Madonna flops
(Friday December 19, 2008 04:19 PM)
Madonna's last single was her least successful in almost 25 years, it has been revealed.
"Miles Away", the third track to be lifted from "Hard Candy", entered the charts at number 39 last month.
It then dropped to 68, before falling out of the pop rundown completely, shifting just 5,643 copies in total.
The last time the pop icon experienced just a lowly chart placing was with "Borderline" in 1984, which reached number 56 when first released.

'Miles away' is 61 in fridays midweek! Oh well x
-
Miles away is 36 in fridays midweeks! lets all rush out and buy the single so it can become a top 35 SMASH! lol x
-
'Miles away' is 37 in todays midweeks, so it has risen 1 place since start of week x
-
Miles away ( Johnny V culb mix) now 98 on pop 100 itunes, so if rises more miles away could still be top 40 by sunday lol x
and hard candy is 98 on i-tunes album chart, so single is have some effect x
-
Would people rather 'Miles Away' reached a low chart postion like 30 or would it be better if it missed the top 75 altogether, so as to appear not to spoilt her run of hits?
Less than a week and Miles away isn't even on the pop 100 on i-tunes xx
