Madonna, Robbie 'agree to X Factor deals'
Thursday, August 13 2009, 10:02 BST
By Daniel Kilkelly, Entertainment Reporter
Rex Features
Simon Cowell has finalised plans for Madonna and Robbie Williams to appear on The X Factor this year, a report claims.
The music mogul was first said to be wooing the stars last month in an attempt to top the 2008 final, which saw Beyoncé performing with show winner Alexandra Burke.
According to The Sun, the programme's choreographer Brian Friedman has now "blabbed" to friends that Cowell has finally convinced the pair to take part.
A source explained: "Brian is really excited about this year's show because there are some great artists involved.
"He is proud to be part of it and admires Simon's ability to attract A-listers."
It is believed that Madonna and Williams will offer masterclasses to the contestants once the live shows start. Whitney Houston, Rihanna and Shakira have also been tipped to appear.
The X Factor returns to ITV1 on August 22.

Don't think has been posted:
Digital Spy:
Paul Oakenfold has described the new material he has recorded with Madonna as "cutting edge sounds combined with classic Madonna".
The pair spent a week together in the studio last month producing songs for the 'Miles Away' singer's upcoming greatest hits package.
Oakenfold confirmed that the new material will be previewed when he opens for Madonna on the second leg of her 'Sticky And Sweet' world tour, which kicks off in London on July 4.
The DJ will also play at the Wireless Festival before supporting Madonna on European dates in Italy, France, Spain, Germany, Russia and Eastern Europe.
His new album Pop Killer is expected to be released in 2010 and features collaborations with the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ryan Tedder and Ce-Lo.

This album, and espically 'Hollywood' made me a Madonna fan in the first place !
If I hadn't caught the Hollywood video on TV I prob would never have become a fan at all x

Some not nice stuff on Digital spy forums about accident:
''What a greedy bitch...being on a horse when she should be living in a mud hut in Malawi.
I hope she rots in hell for her selfishness. ''

Madonna, Ritchie in 'tearful conversation'
Thursday, April 9 2009, 11:08 BST
By Mayer Nissim
Madonna and ex-husband Guy Ritchie shared a tearful telephone conversation after the singer's bid to adopt a second child from Malawi was denied last week, it has been claimed.
The couple's child Rocco was speaking to Madonna on the phone before he passed the handset to Ritchie when the singer - known to pals as Em - burst into tears, The Sun reports.
An insider said: "Rocco was speaking to her and suddenly turned to Guy and said, 'Daddy, Daddy. Mummy is crying.' He then handed Guy the phone.
"It's unusual for Em to turn on the waterworks but this has really upset her. Explaining to Rocco why Mercy wasn't coming home has been difficult."
They added: "Guy was incredibly sympathetic, calmed her down and told her to be happy with the family she had."
Ritchie and Madonna are said to have had further conversations regarding the possibility of appealing the decision made by the court in Malawi.

Madonna makes Italian quake donation
Wednesday, April 8 2009, 10:58 BST
By David Balls, Entertainment Reporter
Madonna has made a 'substantial' donation to a fund for victims of the recent earthquake in Italy.
The singer, who is the granddaughter of two former residents of Pacento, gave a reported $500,000 dollars after the town's mayor made a direct appeal for help.
"I am happy to lend a helping hand to the town that my ancestors are from," she told People.
"My heart goes out to the families that have lost loved ones or their homes."
The earthquake, which measured 6.3 on the richter scale, struck the Abruzzo region of Italy on Monday.
Officials have placed the death toll at 250, with 100 in a serious condition and 20,000 homeless.

Astonished if Manchester was cancelled because of poor sales, even though overall the tour extension will be a succes, its so unusual to see madge not sell out straight away like she normally does, a bad sign of things to come or not? x
-
didnt it sell like 700.000 copies in the UK? it was a flop, but only for his standars
Released in October 2006, Rudebox sold 451,000 by end of year, and didn't register for top 200 albums in 2007, so didn't sell alot, total I would expect is 500,000 max
