  1. I find that very hard to believe. Madonna would not put something out of poor quality. I think you need to state that it's your opinion or it could be the system that you are playing it on is of poor quality.

I think its just cos its live, and what i'm playing it on is fine! Its just some places shes singing its fine then on ohter songs u can barley hear her voice xxxx

But overall its still great, prob the best Madonna thing I've bought in ages, loves it xxxxxxxxx

  2. Good. Other 5K copies, maybe. I hope WBR will discount the album next week, I want COADF at least at 1.3M at the end of 2007 (a million more than AL). Then, another album!

and on Amazon (uk) COADF is discounted and has risen over 100 places to 78, So I think Confessions will rise this week, poosibly even top 75 i'm thinking because greatest hits wil fall after they had all been bought as presents xxxxxx

  3. Russian Orthodox Church calls for boycott of Madonna concert

    (Friday August 04, 2006 05:45 PM)

MOSCOW (AFP) - Russia's Orthodox Church accused US superstar Madonna of exploiting Christian symbols for her own ends and called for a boycott of her first-ever concert in Moscow.

"The US singer Madonna exploits Christian symbols -- the cross, rosary beads and the crucifix -- and tries to equate human passions, including her own personal passions, with something sacred," the spokesman for the patriarch of Moscow said.

"I don't think that Orthodox believers should support this lady by going to her concert," father Vsevolod Chaplin said on Echo of Moscow radio station.

She "needs spiritual help because she swings between Christianity and Kabbalah," he said, referring to a branch of Jewish mysticism that the singer follows.

Madonna will perform in Russia for the first time on September 11 as part of her "Confessions" world tour. The concert will take place on a specially constructed stage on Sparrow Hills overlooking the city centre, close to Moscow State University.

The pop diva will arrive in the Russian capital with 57 trucks and 200 tonnes of equipment in tow, the organisers said. Tickets cost between 1,500 rubles (55 dollars, 45 euros) and a hefty 25,000 rubles (930 dollars, 730 euros).

Madonna kicked off the European leg of her world tour in the Welsh city of Cardiff on July 30 where she gyrated on a saddle floating above the stage and sang from a crucifix in a performance involving provocative dance routines.

She has often sparked outrage among religious leaders with raunchy video clips, notably when she kissed a black Christ in front of a burning cross in her 1989 hit "Like a Prayer".

    MAD ABOUT THE RIP-OFF

    TOUT OF ORDER

    Eva Simpson & Caroline Hedley

IT'S the debate that's dominating the music world. Is a show by Madonna, or anyone else for that matter, really worth up to £150 a ticket?

The aptly named Material Girl was greeted with an embarrassing backlash from fans when she kicked off her UK tour in Cardiff on Sunday night - with more than 2,000 seats unsold.

And there are still plenty of tickets Ic for some of the London dates of her Confessions tour which start tonight at Wembley Arena. It's clear fans have balked at paying up to £150 a ticket for her two-hour show. They wish it was called the Concessions Tour. Yet ludicrously, one brown-nosing, out-of-touch, clearly overpaid pop columnist yesterday claimed tickets were "worth every penny" and a "bargain" at £7.14 a song. That certainly wasn't the view of hard-working fans we spoke to after the show. They thought it was brilliant, but the tickets were still a rip-off.

Mark Churchman, 30, from Darlington, said: "She was amazing, but she's not being fair to the people who have got her where she is today." Graham Lumley, 31, from Manchester, said: "I'm gutted as it's the first UK tour of hers I've missed."

Lindsay Platt, 26, and Steph Harris, 30, from Stockport, paid a whopping £500 each for tickets and accommodation - "way too expensive", according to Lindsay. But Steph insisted: "I've been a fan since I was 11 and would pay whatever it took to see her."

Do you agree? Are Madonna's tickets worth up to £150 a pop?

    YES: 0901 3834421

    NO: 0901 3834422

Calls cost 25p. Mobile charges may vary (NO profits go to Madonna).

still plenty of tickets ? I thought all but one were sold out? :vogue:
