Honestly, this album deserves brilliant remixes, some of the like we got from Ray of Light through American Life. The songs deserve better than this...

I for one love all the vocal effects and always have. They’re layered in there with plenty of “natural” vocals as well so I just don’t get why so many people are hung up on this and it’s been brought up so much with this album. They add impact and depth to the music in my opinion. It’s not like they’ve been thrown in there cheaply and without nuance, which is often the case with many, many other mainstream artists.

Totally, I just think the deluxe IS the album as far as everyone involved in it is concerned and the 13-track abomination should never have existed in the first place. It’s certainly not the “record” as Madonna herself sees it.

Yeah the release of remixes have unfortunately been a total fuckup this era, which is a shame because the songs are fantastic and I was really looking forward to how they might be reimagined.

Actually releasing the fucking remixes would certainly help! You’d think they’d be doing everything they can to keep racking up the #1s on the dance chart at least...
