For me this is more reason to miss Donna and Niki. The seven dancer format with Donna and Niki was fool proof.Well on CT she used 12 dancers but for "Jump" 3-4 more were added for parkour. Maybe for Sticky & Sweet there is going to be a number that has some special dancers, or something like that. And it's very possible that not more than 10-12 will be on stage at the same time anyway. -
I don't like the sound of 18 dancers. It seems very Vegas and Cher-esque to me.

The news I've been waiting for a proper video recording of the tour!Word is on the street that Live Nation is in talks with HBO to broadcast the concert on Sun 10/12 live from NY at 9pm (even though the event is scheduled for 8pm). Live Nation executives visited the HBO offices on 6th Ave yesterday...

Well, I have to say, clearly constantly complaining about radio will definitely make a difference.
If we didn't have the white noise of a never-ending stream of whiners, think how much WORSE it would be! You'd probably be sent to prison for listening to dance music!
Why not actually do something proactive? Go out and buy the music you like and want to support. The almighty dollar is your most powerful weapon.

I thought about her after watching TOD some weeks ago and did a search for her online to see if she was still alive. She is. Why would she be bitter to Madonna? She was on TGS tour.

& I agree with whoever said street type dancing has 2 go. Madonna only
shines as a dancer when she incorporates classical elements in her
choreography. Ditch those urban cunts & bring in classically trained ballet
homos

This isn't her worst studio album, that honor goes to Bedtime Stories. I am in love with HC. I'm happy she was able to make a real Madonna album with current popular urban producers.
If the Sticky and Sweet tour is recorded for DVD -- that should encourage people who haven't bought the album to get it.

madonna sells more internationally, but... let's be honest... once someone gets stuck with the "international star" label... it pretty much means their career in the US is dying.
clearly, this album was an attempt to conquer the US market and... the 4M single actually has, but, for some reason, that hasn't translated into album sales (and we all have our own theories why).
i actually think GI2M could give album sales a boost... if the song's a radio hit. my theory is that 4M didn't really appeal to many core madonna fans and so they didn't bother to buy the album. GI2M is more typically madonna-ish and, so, that might give a boost to the album.
let's hope...
I'd rather Madonna be a global star - than have her bread and butter be America like Scary or Tranet.

Who gives a fuck if HARD CANDY doesn't do as well in the U.S in comparison to other countries?
The U.S media/radio stations are infatuated with Mariah, that gives her an instant advantage over Madge in the U.S.
Amen. I feel sad though HC isn't doing better because she made this album for the American audience. Fuck Americans who ignore this project. I hope the next thing she does is even more far-out than American Life.

What's his fault? I love DW - re-Invention was exciting - I have yet to see Confessions.
I'm unsure about what could make her productions better. Boy Madonna (her brother Christopher) said in an interview that The Girlie Show is the best thing him and Madonna will ever do together.
