I don't know if Madonna said it in print or on film but she made reference to Mirwais being a tough collaborator because he was always encouraging her to be political in the music.

Japan gets the 15 track album with the standard cover. Plus the super deluxe box.

When fans have access to demos the finished or reworked versions of the material pale to their response to the uncut stuff. Also, the abundance of material from those two projects: MDNA and Rebel Heart overwhelms immensely.

That feels a bit cynical. I simply believe she wasn't emotionally invested in music when she made MDNA. And were it not for the leak of her recording sessions for Rebel Heart we'd be more celebratory of it.

I feel vindicated Madonna made him a primary collaborator again. American Life continues to be maligned. And it remains in the top three of my favorite Madonna albums. Erotica remains number one and I'm hoping Madame X replaces Hard Candy at number three.

Does the release date seem too far away? We're in a modern era where I'm used to performers giving their projects over to the public in rapid succession after hearing the first single. Madame X has a traditional promo layout. We don't want the album to leak before hand but I do wish they'd consider moving the release date up to late May.

Curious what the additional disc has for the 2-disc deluxe? The hardcover 32-page booklet is its own unique edition. It'll be more expensive.

The United States doesn't have buildings this old this beautiful. Which is why there's a slight disconnect except for those of us who are either catholic or have French heritage. The architecture alone can't be easily replicated. Sympathies for those most gravely affected.
