No I don't but I can definitely hear the original "Vogue" backing music in the album version because clearly they were in too much of a rush to use her isolated vocal track
Wait... There's no way that it was unintentional... But then RH is a mixing disaster so maybe they did fuck that one up too, oh well
-
No, the original is better! don't like what they did with the chords on the second demo! and "yeah~~~!" is the best part!
-
I highly doubt she will produce another extravagant-spectacle type of world tour anytime soon so I don't really think her late starts matter that much anymore commercially speaking. She'll most likely be doing intimate acoustic shows in major cities for her next tour. I don't know but I feel like it's pretty obvious that this phase of commercial dance popstar (circa 2005-2015) will end with RHT. It's gonna be a new chapter for her, and for us fans too.

Average per show is 1.8m, total will be around 145m!
Congratulations Madonna
The Asian/Oceania legs are gonna gross way more than 1.8m per show.
I say 160m.

I don't find it tacky at all. It's saturated with red, black and white as prime colors. For me it's like a a cry for fury and passion.
Yeah I don't see how such simple color palette can be tacky. The editing was a bit overdone but I understand the intention of her wanting it be a live painting, same with MdNa DVD
-
If she lost fans during the MDNA era, I question what kind of fans they were in the first place. Sometimes artists release work you're not gonna like. Is that a reason to turn in your fan card?
I do agree with what you said, though. It's funny, because I was actually thinking the very same thing the other night. But I'm actually happier that the album came out now, rather than a few years ago. It's more special to me because of where I am in my life at this point. I'll definitely be looking back on this era with fond memories for years to come!
She's a pop artist and pop audience tend to be very fickle except us hardcore stans. She gained an incredible amount of casual fans during Confessions but MDNA completely killed that momentum

God this medley is such a bore. It simply...drags and kills every crowd xD Even Mexico.
Can't wait for the acoustic section!
The medley always has wild crowd reactions so I don't know what you're talking about.

I'll be forever mad at her for paying Inside Out complete dust. BITCH.

Never say never. Madonna's still in he 50s and it seems she's got a great health.
What he meant is that Madonna will never declare a "farewell" because she'll never stop til the second she dies.

The effects on CT DVD were top notch though and they really elevated the atmosphere of the entire show.

I love how people are starting to take all of these rumors seriously
We don't know ANYTHING just yet.

I need a Rebel Heart Donna circa 2015 documentary in my life.

YEP! Absolute instant, classic M songs. Possibly two mega smashes or mega smash potential that were butchered for the album. Would still love to know to this day what *truly happened? Avicci said many, many months later how salty he was and 'claimed' he was clueless to why she made made the changes.
The overall/universal consensus seems to be she was simply so irate w/ the original 'demo' (but prob 99% final versions) leaking that it was a punishment in a way to everyone/the whole situation (regardless of how much she loved them or not) and was already over it all by that point. Was like an F U for putting the songs out which she prob. super loved waay before they were meant to be heard. Plus, there was prob. a bit more tweaking up needed to be done but she was so pissed that seems she scrapped them last minute out of pure frustration. Those demos are 100% Madonna- NOT the final, vapid/dreadful B side quality final album cuts. Almost seemed like a bad joke.
No doubt RH (demo) and WAOM woulda done some major damage in Europe- the most she's done in many years.
Gosh I can't believe I have to explain the whole situation again in Dec 2015
1. Kanye has already reworked WAOM way before the demo leaked. Read the Mojo Magazine interview. How many times do I have to repeat this?
2. Avicii got really ill halfway through the production of the record and she had to look for another producer to finish the record, which means a NEW sound.
3. RH was meant to be a double album. I do think the heart record was meant to be Avicii/dance-oriented and the rebel side would be more Diplo/urban-electro. But since the label didn't allow that, she had to tweak the songs so that they had a more cohesive sound. RH/WAOM(demos) would've sounded so out of place on the final record.
However, if she were still under Warner, they would've never let her change the RH demo. They always had a good ear for lead singles.

will she cancel the tour if rocco is indeed gonna live with his father??
wtf why?
-
This is one of her best eras EVER and I've never been so obsessed with her!
-
Oh, and maybe we lack information, but if everything is as explained, i think Madonna is making a mistake. You can't force your growing up kid to live with you. What would she have done at 15????
Or maybe she notices how bad of an influence Guy will be to Rocco ? He's a pig.
-
If he wants to stay in London then let him! I think he's "old" enough to make this decision. That being said, Guy is and will forever be a turd. Flush it janet!
-
It was a monster lead single choice! I do think the production felt a bit reductive by 2008 and it birthed Crowdonna, but it was still quite a bop.
-
I remember myself legitimately screaming and queefing when I saw the iconic cover.
-
not this discussion AGAIN
but yes this version is one of her best recordings of ALL TIME and I'm not exaggerating.

Rebel Heart has officially beaten Bedtime Stories on my list! and I'm FINALLY warming up to COADF and True Blue!
1. Like A Prayer
Pop masterpiece and best record of all time. Classic pop melody, lyrics and production. I love the bittersweet vibe of this record, it always gives me the mental picture of a very young Madonna wandering in a theme park at sunset. I don't know why but Cherish makes me feel melancholic every time!
2. Ray Of Light
Frozen/Ray Of Light/Sky Fits Heaven all belong to my Top 5 M songs so nuff' said about this record! There are a few tracks I can do with though
3. American Life
Nothing Fails/Intervention/X-static Process is THE Madonna trinity. Probably her most creative album?
4. Rebel Heart
My most played album EVER. I think the album is very cohesive (unlike popular opinions)! Love love love the gritty/industrial sound throughout the record. So many beautiful melodies. And I only dislike 2 songs out of 19!
5. Bedtime Stories
6. Erotica
7. Hard Candy
8. Confessions On A Dance Floor
9. True Blue
10.Madonna
11.Music
12.MDNA
13.Like A Virgin

Perhaps if there had been an announcement at the beginning telling people they had some technical issues, I think more people would have understood. To be kept waiting with no explanation is very frustrating
BUT THEY DID
but some of those diva bitches said they were not buying that excuse. I'm sorry but sometimes I just hate Madonna fans so much.

Im always on M side but this time no. She is late for every single show this tour and its getting annoying. If she starts her preparation for the show for example at 5pm and she is late then its time to start at 3pm and she'll be on time.
If I pay 100000 to see FULL SHOW and she cuts songs just like that (and not talking just for this show last nigt) its not fair.
And no1 believes in "Im late cus I want to make everything perf" story anymore. Start with your preparation for the show earlier and u will start the show on time.. its not that hard.
how do you define "late"? She starts more than half of her shows before 10, which is a very reasonable time.
Best producer from Rebel Heart

BIM is bonkers and trailblazing. love love love PC music. I don't understand why people think BIM production is generic and trend chasing. Give me a song that sounds like BIM.
