We are now in our Third Wave and it started with a UK Variant then the Indian variant was detected but as of today S. African and S. American variants have also been detected in Thailand .
Mass vaccination program will start on Monday 7th June . The Government mismanage the distribution of vaccines ; thinking that our infection rate was non -existence so we went from infections in the tens up to 3000 _ a day now .
Death rates are around 20-40 people per day . Am getting my vaccine in July and it will be Astra .
We don't have any choice . It's either the Chinese made Sinovac ( which had just been approved by WHO two days ago ) or Astra but you can not choose . They will tell you when you arrive at your designated vaccine location what vaccine you will get on the day ( unless you are over 60 then it's definitely Astra )
The other vaccines J&J , Pfizer , Moderna as well as Sputnik V will arrive in October .
Long story short they government thought because our infections rate was like zero for months ( without Proactive testing ) everything would be back to normal . They started opening up nightclubs , bars , gym & entertainment venues and ;et people travel all over the country for the Thai New Year holiday without realising that actually you do need to Vaccinate the people first before opening up the country !

News in Thailand is that wealthy Indians have chartered planes to escape from India to other countries . Most of them are headed to Dubai , UAE as well as Thailand and we are on our Third wave with little vaccines .
Our daily infected cases have gone up from single digit to thousands in a matter of weeks .Government had mismanaged the vaccine's roll outs as they thought that the daly infection rate was under control so they opened all the clubs , bars and entertainment venues as well as letting people travel all over the country to celebrate Thai New Year .and forgot to vaccinated the population.
Nightmare .

The TV personality flew to Thailand on Wednesday and has since remained behind closed doors in accordance with current health and safety guidelines.
Speaking to MailOnline from hospital, a groggy Jessica, 37, admitted she will be staying in South-East Asia for weeks beyond her operation, which she describes as 'life-changing'.
She said: 'I was being very discreet coming to Thailand as I didn't tell anyone. I am in a Bangkok plastic surgery hospital where I'll spend two weeks in quarantine, and then I'll have the surgery.
'I'm going to be staying in Thailand nearly two months. I've literally just arrived.'
She added: 'I can't reveal what the surgery is yet, but it's a life-changing one.'
The previous day she gave Instagram followers an update ahead of her long-haul flight to South-East Asia while insisting the nature of the trip would remain a secret until further notice.
Addressing fans from an empty departure lounge, she said: 'I'm at Heathrow Airport all by myself, there's no one else here. I'm going away to somewhere nice, exotic and apparently very hot right now.'
What is left to be done ???? Look at her .

Well, just like the usual flu jab, you'll still get it but the symptoms would be very very mild.
From personal experience:
Before flu jab: fever + sore throat + runny nose + muscle aching for 2 to 3 days, followed by cough for 2 or 3 months on and off.
After flu jab: slight runny nose for a day or 2.
Also just like flu jabs it will not protect you against all tases different strains of covid but I guess it's better than having no protection at all .
Face masks and hand sanitizer are here to stay .

I read that you could still get it even if you have been vaccinated but the symptoms will be less severe .

We are in our second wave at the moment . The infection rates are around 200-300 + daily and deaths have increased from 60 to 70 .
Gyms , pub, clubs ,spas , bars are closed . Restaurants are open ( with strict Covid-19 app check in and social distancing guideline ) but they can open until only 9 pm .
Vaccines will jeavailable from FEB 2021 . GP will get it around April I think .

I can not believe people were protesting in the UK against wearing masks AND being given Covid vaccine against their will.

In Thailand we will welcome our first bunch of tourists from 1st October . Only to the island of Phuket .
30 days min stay with 14 day hotel quarantine .
Wear a mask, wash your hands , practice social distancing and we will just get through this .

They literally serve the same breakfast (Bread, bacon, sausages, hashbrown, scrambled eggs, yoghurt) everyday!
No I think Thailand will go ALL OUT to impress the first batch of tourists coming into our country since we closed our airspace because of Covid-19.
They will be treated like Kings and Queens .

My first dose will be Astra( !2 July ) then Moderna for the 2nd and third .
In Thailand Astra and Sinovac are for free but my god there is always shortage of these vaccines.
Moderna I had to pay in advance . They are calling it the ' choice ' vaccine ie. Gov will not pay for it .
