I think she's a lock for:

BEST DANCE/ELECTRONIC ALBUM

BEST DANCE POP RECORDING (BYL or "Danceteria"? Does "Love Sensation" with Kylie have a shot?)

BEST MUSIC FILM

Possible:

ALBUM OF THE YEAR (this category was expanded to 10 nominees a few years ago, making this more likely IMO.)

BEST POP DUO/GROUP PERFORMANCE (BYL)

Could she also receive a nomination for BEST DANCE/ELECTRONIC RECORDING (maybe for IFSF)? This category was split off from dance/pop to allow pure electronic/dance acts to win more often, but Beyonce was nominated in 2023 and, well, Madonna is widely considered a dance artist now. It honestly depends on how her team decides to submit her.

I could also see a BEST RECORDING PACKAGE and PRODUCER OF THE YEAR, but those obviously wouldn't go to Madonna.

Less likely but still possible (especially if she gets an AOTY nomination):

RECORD OF THE YEAR (BYL or "Danceteria"?)

SONG OF THE YEAR (BYL or "Danceteria"?)

If one of these does happen, I could see it going to "Danceteria," especially if the song is promoted like a single over the next few months.

The intro to the Times Square show is an excerpt from Love Without Words, which we now know is also referenced at the end of the video for BYL (Come into the club of love). I was obsessed with the intro of the live since day one. It's nice to know this is part of the project. Of course we don't know if this is a remix edit or the album version.

So, being one of the resident MNation Latinos, I may as well open this thread.

Considering her love for all things Latin right from the start of her career -or even before as seen in Konk Party- and how this album is overall a celebration of the dancefloor, it makes sense to have something like this. Tainy helps with the production so this will probably work better than previous attempts.

I just wish this official preview was at least as long as the film version

Just listened for the first time, and hearing the first few notes, I was already blown away. It's so pure, fragile, humble, beautiful.. it easily could've been on Ray of Light or Music or AL.

Perfect closing song

In a statement, Madonna summed up the new album by quoting the first few lines of the song “One Step Away,” saying, “People think that dance music is superficial, but they’ve got it all wrong. The dance floor is not just a place, it’s a threshold: A ritualistic space where movement replaces language.”

An unexpected highlight

I feel the new preview of this incredible track needs its own thread !!

We have the amazing bathroom scene in the CONFESSIONS II film, and now this chorus preview.

Could this be the highlight of the album?
2nd single material?
Performance worthy at the World Cup ? The best Madonna track for decades?

Where would you place the cover in her discography?

I was a huge immediate fan. Like the album itself, I think it'll go down as one of her better ones. She keeps the pink and red thing from the original but it's an upgrade imo, and the veil is already iconic. I also love the black text, like others have said obviously a nod to all the burned CDs you'd see at clubs in the 90s with sharpie written on them.

So lots of comments about the lasers everywhere but not so much about the song itself and it's a shame because what we've heard so far sounds fantastic don't you think?

Can't wait to see how this works in full and coming after "I Feel So Free".

Do y’all anticipate the reviews to be on par with COADF? There’s been a bit of revisionist history with the original Confessions album — Upon release, I remember Rolling Stone only gave it 3.5/5 and indicated she sounded like a veteran artist for the first time. Now it’s one of her most acclaimed releases.

From what we’ve heard, it sounds like it’ll be a solid album — only concern is the length — Rebel Heart was critiqued because it was too long, and I remember reviews indicating that if it had been winnowed down to 12 or so tracks, it would be a solid release.

Madonna to make history at UK festival after 'snubbing' Glastonbury

Madonna has reportedly signed up to perform three consecutive days at BST Feastival in Hyde Park after snubbing advances to perform on the iconic stage at Galstonbury next year

This one in London says it's supported by Madonna's team:

Let's hear the ones you like and the ones you love!

A short clip is played towards the end. I feel it has a ray of light album vibe.
