We're all meant to be celebrating the $300 million tour payday. The recording career and the legacy clearly doesn't matter.

Yes, but it's not like the tour is just about performing her greatest hits just like the record like the Rolling Stones do. It's a huge grossing tour, but it's also one of her most artistic tours ever.  I really believe the MDNA tour will cement her legacy as one of her most artistic and moving tours ever. Sticky and Sweet actually grossed more and had more hits, but the MDNA tour touched me  emotionally much more,  I will never forget the two shows I saw in DC ever. It was the two best nights of my life. It goes so much deeper than just about grossing how many millions of dollars. I really believe this tour cemented her legacy as the most amazing live performer that has ever lived.

no, I personally love GB but I know a few peeps that dont like it!

But a lot of my non-Madonna fan friends LOVE Gang Bang, so maybe to the general public it prob is a great song for her to release! But LS and BK should be singles also

I guess it's just that I tend to like more pop songs and melody. I"m not as into the super hard beat driven stuff. I can see people really into the club scene would love it.
I also don't quite buy the lyric. It's funny and entertaining, but it's not real to me, because Madonna isn't really a bitter violent person.

Am I the only fan that doesn't think Gang Bang is all that? I love MDNA, but GB is not one of my favorite songs on it. I love it in the violent context of the tour, but as something I want to listen to at home, it doesn't do it for me. I guess it's a little too repetitive and heavy on the beats for my personal taste. I would prefer Love Spent or Beautiful Killer as a single.

But weren't the songs serviced to dj's and clubs? Didn't the singles from MDNA still do quite well on the club charts? There are a lot of songs that do great in clubs, but don't ever get played on the radio or cross over to become pop hits. Increasingly it seems the club audience has become separate from the pop radio audience.

Maybe it's because she thinks most ordinary fans are not that interested in remixes. I understand you love remixes, but personally remixes are of no interest to me. I find them rather boring to be honest. I almost always prefer the album version.
Remixes tend to be more marketed to dj's who are buying them to play in their sets not regular fans. Most dj's today don't play cd's anymore, they play things in a digital format on a USB drive.
