JLS or Robbie will take the top spot this coming week, my money is on Robbie. The album is probably dire but he has been promoting on X factor, BBC The proms, Jonathan Ross (another interview where he reveals he suffers from stage fright, the sympathy card once again, yawn) and he is meant to be the sole guest on Loose Women
Leona will take next weeks number 1 in the singles, though Sugababes, BEPs, N Dubz and Britney all have a chance of high chart placings.

Good hold for Madge on the albums chart, as it crosses 200,000 sold.

Nope. Not heard it at all. I downloaded it by accident and didn't realise it was a cover but not heard it on Radio 1. I think there is no interest in her a the moment. Same old sh*t. Not sure if Radio 2 are playing it and she might do better on commercial radio like Heart.
I think there is general indifference to here now as there are a swathe of female popstars coming through that are young and fresh: GaGa, La Roux, Little Boots, Pixie Lott as well as Alexandra Burke and Cheryl Cole.
Who cares about a fading prima donna with fake boobs and covers of lame 80s songs?

Single sales are good but not massive for Leona. She could be caught by BEPs. The top ten are going to sell well though this week as many strong new entires.
Madonna is still top 30 in the albums so will see another sales increase hopefully by the end of the week.

No one would have expected JLS to start with such massive sales. It is not as if Robbie is underselling. I hope JLS do it but I am sure EMI will pull out all the stops to ensure Robbie does it.
Leona is a great success but the song is below par, would be great if BEPs beat her. That said, it is still an X Factor influenced top two, grrrr.

Big sales for Robbie. Not surprised really. Are JLS and Robbie likely to do over 200,000 in the first week?
Theres a very high chance that Cheryl Cole might sell a million albums by Xmas and if not by then definitely in the long run. Her debut solo single makes Spice Girls solo singles sound brilliant. She will probably be the best seller of 2009.
