Um, I mentioned the PERCENTAGE DROP- some could see 89% dip and may forget that catalog-life adjustment is common. I should have clarified even further for you, though. :)

I was only stressing a point how good COADF's sales was... didn't mean to get your panties wet...

TIC is advertised in Best Buy's ad this week for 9.99 hopefully between that and the press for the R&R hall of fame induction sales will increase a bit

Wal-Mart now has TIC priced at 8 and change ($8.88 or something like that) and GHV2 at 9 and change. At those prices they should start moving some...

Virgin has a slew of Madonna titles on sale for $10 as part of a 5 day storewide sale.

Best Buy is going to have Immaculate and Confessions on sale for $7.99 next week to coincide with HC's release. While TIC is on sale quite frequently, this should give COADF its best sales week in a good year or so at $8.

Thanks for the update HG

I was expecting the increase in sales for TIC but I must say I am surprised that COADF moved 2500. Really pleased. I love the album. Lets hope it can keep selling at least +1000 for a few weeks

er, my source isn't from Billboard- just one I haven't bugged for info in a while. :)

Immaculate Collection was No. 67 on the 5/10 catalog listing, with 2,664 units. So, its sales more than doubled from the prior week, moving 67-15. The title hadn't been in the catalog top 50 since M's catalog hit iTunes back in September 2005- so, it's been a long time comin'. Hopefully it can stay in the top 50 for at least 1 more week (we saw Mimi's three titles plunge the week after the new album was released- just #1s is in the top 50 this week, E=MC2's 3rd week on thechart).
