This is the only photo that I don't like, there's something super plastic about how they made her look here. The others are beautiful.

The face is too photoshopped. And it's a shame because it's a great shot overall.

You shouldn't forget that this was primarily a fashion shooting aiming a younger readership. Even the photos of the young models are photoshopped heavily.

Wow- beautiful! This is one of the best ever. She looks like Joan Collins a bit. I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned that. I haven't scrolled through the pages.

So the last time she appeared on British Vogue was indeed 30 years ago. Amazing that in the LAP's 30th anniversary and at the dawn of yet another amazing Madonna era she'd be back on it. And back on it with these beautiful shots. Very different from m&m usual work with her.

or madonna  being compared/mentioned always with her...I mean, it has to be really difficult to create her own road.

Also true.

Madonna’s comments about phone use are spot on. Technology has undoubtedly reduced our socialisation and possibly even our imagination. I always keep that in mind and make sure to still DO THINGS. It’s all about balance.

Yes, I completely agree with you. I started doing many things again, like drawing and painting as well as playing board games. I also try to use the smartphone as less as possible

And she’s a brunette in both shoots! Full circle. #extremeoccident

Good on you. It’s true. Even something simple like taking the bus and looking at my phone, I look up to notice I’ve been ignoring the outside view for a good five/ten minutes. Don’t let life literally pass you by. Madonna is spot on. I like the internet but life itself is more important.

That was my first thought. Very Joan.

I absolutely love the style and fashion here. I don’t wanna moan but I wished she’d dress more like that in real life.

Totally love this style for real life outings. She'd look fab in pap shots. And dark hair suits her so much. She could do a bit of her more frequently seen casual, baggy, "hobo chic" styling and a bit of this. Perfect

Completely agree. This resonated for me, as well. (Your comment also reminds me how Madonna limited screen/TV time for her children — at least for Lola and Rocco — and wanted them to read more, because she was concerned it would limit their imaginations.)

I was also thinking how many of us will probably hope some Madame X Tour attendees will have their phones out at the theatre shows ... and yet I also thought that I hope they can *be present* and enjoy being that close to her, enjoying her art and performance directly instead of through a device.

Now people are wearing the technology, and it’s hard to get through a conversation without messages popping up on their darn watches.

While everything you guys are saying about tech use is true...this is the one area I don't exactly mind. :laugh:

Haha.....it'll piss me off if I'm there.....but if I'm not there and I'm here WAITING for something, anything about the show to appear, then those people will be saving graces! It's such a conundrum!!

@peter I totally hear you too! Such a difference hanging out with people now versus even just 10 yrs ago.....I'm just not feeling the engagement like I once did with people. Like you said, always an effin notification or SOMETHING to distract.....and I'm no angel when it comes to this either! Definitely not eliminating myself as someone that could use improvement in this area.

Anyways, totally get where M is coming from. I feel for parents these days man...lol....kids literally can access just about ANYTHING at very young ages. I was getting into things as a youngster too but it's on a whole 'nother level now I think.

Well, it is due to people like the above that things will never change for the better. They are so contradictory, such hypocrites, should be ashamed of themselves, they give women a bad name.

Incoherent rambling . Should be noted not all them were against her . Also Grace Jones ? Really ? She's a cult favourite not a global superstar

The Queen of Pop said she has not watched the film 'Leaving Neverland' about Michael Jackson sex abuse allegations but she told British Vogue: "I don't have a lynch-mob mentality, so in my mind, people are innocent until proven guilty".

"I've had a thousand accusations hurled at me that are not true. So my attitude when people tell me things about people is, 'Can you prove it?'"

Asked what would constitute proof of Jackson's guilt, she replied: "I don't know, I haven't seen the film. "But I guess it would be people recounting actual events - but then, of course, people sometimes lie.

"So I always say, 'What's the agenda? What do people want out of this? Are there people asking for money, is there some kind of extortion thing happening?. I would take all of those things into consideration."

She said of the HBO and Channel 4 documentary: "I guess I'll get around to seeing it. I haven't seen it yet."

The brunette lady is a Gaga stan, rather trasparent...
