Keith Flint from the Prodigy found dead

Recommended Posts

He was found dead in his home in London. Apparently it’s not being treated as suspicious but he was only 49 so it’s very very sad.

Keith Flint, the iconic frontman of the 1990s electronic band The Prodigy, has been found dead at his home aged 49.

The singer was found unconscious at his country property near Dunmow, Essex at around 8am this morning, after police were called to what they described as 'concerns for his welfare'.

Paramedics attempted to resuscitate him but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say they are not treating the death as suspicious.

The musician became one of the faces of Britpop in the 1990s when his energetic dance style and punk haircuts made him one of the movement's most recognisable characters.

His band were best known for their fast-paced songs including Firestarter, Breathe and Smack My B**** Up.

I saw The Prodigy just 3 months ago in a concert.

I'm in complete shock. I can't believe this.:(

This is so sad. I'm a huge Prodigy fan. He had so much energy and passion. He was an amazing front man. But the music will live on. 😔

One of my fav albums. This was on heavy play back in 1997 along with Santeria of Sublime.

Part of the 90s died with him and Luke Perry today. Very different people but equally classic.

I can’t believe it’s already the 90s artists that start dying, time will get us all...

They were gonna produce her Ray Of light album, but the timing was wrong as they just released their own album and needed to promote it.

No, Liam refused the offer... It was a to cool for school kinda situation. Though he complimented the album afterwards saying M didn't need him in the end for ROL to be a good album.
