I thought it was extremely tacky. And J-lo was the best they could get for a Motown tribute? That's like asking Britney Spears to do a Beatles tribute.

Show is horrible. D-list presenters. Terrible musical moments (Lady Gaga). Mediocre winners (Gaga´s wins and most other wins. The only ones pasables where This is America and Dua Lipa, but only because the categories and nominees where terrible). Alica Keys as a host extremely boring.

Happy Ariana, Kendrick, Childish Gambino and others boycotted it. They need to bring the stars and talent to the show next year.

dreadful show! lol NEVER ending. I walked away. Equal if not reduced to MTV/ Nick awards. WHERE are the mega stars? Yes, JLo, Dolly, Diana and Katy where there but everything has been botched and 'off'. JLo doing/singing an entire Motown medley? Just looked soo awkward and cheap (like most of the performances). Such a D list shit show lol Sad as they used to be so prestigious and suspenseful.

I found it kinda fake from them that now surprisingly all the winners were almost POC or women: Ariana, Gaga, Dua, Kacey, Cardi, Carters, Kanye, Pharrell, Drake, Brandie, Gambino.

Yeah some of them deserved but for me it feels forced in some way, oh well maybe they want to start paying respects to all the past years losers, maybe this will they will finally give an award to M, since 2007.

She can’t even score some major trophies at the tacky Awards anymore. The irony!

Majority of the artist won at least a Grammy to their name.... feels like the Academy was trying to please everybody.

Gag was definitely the worst part of the show. I was sick of seeing her on stage every 20 seconds crying and talking about mental illness. Fuck off thanks.

Why does Linda always looks like she’s in dire need of a bath?

Only things worth watching were Janelle Monae, Dolly, Diana and the Motown tribute.

I was kind of livin' for Diana constantly wishing herself a happy birthday.  :dead:  REAL diva.

so nothing for janelle?

:rant::rant::rant:

Janelle was amazing. As usual. One of the few real artists/performers on that stage last night.

Not winning anything was criminal, as Dirty Computer is a far superior body of work than most of the stuff nominated last night. Musically and visually.

Kacey Musgraves....girl please.  Gaga winning 3 fucking Grammys...GTFO.

Loved that Kacey won album of the year! Well deserved!

My fave performances:(In no order)

Dua Lipa+ St Vincent/ Cardi B/ Dolly Tribute/ Queen Diana Ross/ Janelle/ Kacey/ and surprisingly J-Lo's Motown tribute.

Gaga was a mess! LOL

Even Billboard gave it a mediocre review. Ranking 11 from 18 performances.
