he has always sang off key, it´s not a problem for him to sound bad if he´s been interacting with the public.anyways, how come he looked so old! Gary is way hotter than he now!

Is he really the best selling UK male solo artist? Or is it a Mariah-ism?

What about Elton, George & Bowie?

I love Take That and my heart belongs to these boys no matter what. I'm not much into his music but I always smile when he's performing

He is the perfect definition of aging badly

I see nothing wrong with that performance, just an artist and an audience having a good time. To sing in key is overrated tbh, leave that for Opera and stuff like that. FM music is all about melodies, lyrics and attitude.

He's basically that drunken uncle who will show you his cock at a wedding.

All I see is the Sticky & Sweet homage backdrop.

Whatever happened to him though? From a European perspective he was the biggest Popstar on earth in the early 00s. He had some decent bops and was all around very entertaining...

Slap a pair of glasses on his face and voilà... It’s Elton John.

I could scrape a Robbie Top 7 together but I can't be arsed.

Top 10 would be pushing it

There's nothing Sticky and Sweet about the backdrop.

Total trainwreck tho.

They really tried to make him happen here in the States back in 1999.

And nothing happened.

They even planted the rumor Madonna was interested in him. I think he even showed the article 2 Jay Leno.
Poor Rob probabably didn't realize the label payed 4 that arranged story.

I like the bit towards the end were the song titles r spoken :D

I still find it a weird idea 4 a song....it's like that 'Rather do it with Madonna' thing

But the fascination is real...We had this ridiculous wanabe-heartthrob
releasing a song in Flemish in 1990, with more or less the same content.
It's like a proper theme :rotfl:

a friend of mine had a spare ticket to Robbie’s concert in Melbourne in March and invited me to go.  i’m not a huge fan and only knew half the songs he performed, but he is a good entertainer and i enjoyed the concert. He did a tribute to George Michael during the show, singing Freedom, and he said if God had given him just one cock to suck in his life he would have picked George’s cock LOL

Oh we all forget Angels. Overplayed and maybe overrated but a good song.

Should we include Your Disco Needs You too?

I loved Rock DJ and enjoyed She’s Madonna. I thought the video for Rock DJ was thought-provoking, too ... a possible commentary on just how far some will go for attention/fame — and also a commentary on society/culture of the time: what does it take to get the audience’s attention and the cost/danger of celebrity consumption. I dunno. Maybe I read too much into it.

I totally see the Sticky + Sweet tour opening montage in the backdrop video of this live performance in the original post. Also, his reveal in a throne w/ a cane. Definitely cribbing from Candy Shop.
