I like it! Especially the encore with those two massive songs from her biggest era. I think the setlist could handle another ballad though which should be Live To Tell.

A GH tour should be WALL TO WALL hits with only space for 1 or 2 rarities / fan favourites.

This effectively rules out almost everything from 2008 onwards barring '4 Minutes'. And much to Madonna's own dismay I am sure also rules out the likes of Human Nature, CANDY SHOP and any song of their ILK.

Agreed! I originally had Live to Tell on the setlist but changed it for CHERISH just to annoy her because she hates it so much :lmao:

Yeah but lets be honest, Cherish was a bigger hit than GGW or SkyFits Heaven or Iconic and others mentioned here combined! So it really deserves to be on a GH setlist that doesn't only cater to fans.

And I also agree it should be GREATEST hits only, otherwise it doesn't make sense.

She could do  fan service tour, and common folks would be queuing too, we all know that. It probably would get enormous hype by critics and press, because all of her material is great and everyone would be intrigued. It could be called: Greatest Hits. Alternative Facts

Except for the Latin Act ( I think it doesn't make sense with the songs chosen) I like this too. But Into the Groove seems more fitting for the Street part, i know it's very literal then, but it's so significant for her 'street smart beginning of her career DSS' phase.

Its Latin but more BAT Holiday tyle of latin, . So not so literal!

i tried to keep the first section condensed

Let's face it, she could just do The Immaculate Collection World Tour and rake in about a billion. And I would be fine with that. In fact, It's ABOUT TIME she did.

RIT is the closest she has gotten (and probably ever will get) to a greatest hits tour.

#FakeNews

Of course she'll do some kind of GH tour. She's acknowledged her back catalog more in the last 5 years or so than she has in the last 20. All in preparation for some kind of celebration of hits.

And yes, as many have said, it's long overdue.

I'd rather she do an anti tour (no TOAC) but Anti Tour; no costumes, no theatrics, no bad jokes or monologues, just her in t-shirt and jeans and a band playing non single and B-Sides and lost fan-favorite gems.

Pedro,  Rebel Heart is one of my favourite Madonna albums.  I Hated having no songs from it on the list but just being strict with the Greatest hits theme. Loved MDNA and American Life too but the same ie being strict with description of hits  Sorry could easily be added as was a hit.

Mine 2 I really love this album.

I totally get and agree with what you’re saying about a greatest hits but I hated not having any songs from the last 10 years...

Yes, it totally sucks. In an alternative better universe, they would of had massive hit songs that the GP got to hear and love.

Even if it's a true "Greatest Hits"/legacy tour...you know she's gonna throw in a couple singles from the last decade or so. I think that's reasonable.

Oh fine, I've done this before. But here's my current wishlist for GH tour from a logical standpoint.

  1. Papa Don't Preach (with LONG string intro)
  2. Hung Up
  3. Open Your Heart
  4. Frozen
  5. I'll Remember
  6. Interlude (Living for Love)
  7. Express Yourself
  8. Vogue/Deeper & Deeper
  9. Like A Virgin
  10. Girl Gone Wild
  11. Live to Tell
  12. Interlude (4 Minutes)
  13. Into the Groove
  14. Beautiful Stranger/Candy Shop
  15. Causing A Commotion
  16. Borderline
  17. Interlude (Where's The Party)
  18. Ray of Light
  19. Lucky Star
  20. La isla Bonita
  21. Holiday/Everybody

Encore:

  1. Bitch I'm Madonna/Human Nature
  2. Material Girl
  3. Don't Tell Me
  4. Like A Prayer

I guess she'd go with 4 minutes and BIM. Those are the only two which could be justified somehow. Other than that there's no big hits  past Hung Up.
